He tried everything to glass to wanting surgery but finding it couldn't help him you name it, but when he thought all hope was lost...... HE FOUND THE MAGNIFYING GLASS! (I didn't intend to make that sentience sound like it was a super hero comic LOL) It helps him quite a lot actually and he ignores the people that make fun of him. Like for example when he thinks he sees a cat but is not quite sure he will put it (it meaning the Magnifying Glass not the thing "cat" or whatever he thinks he sees XD) up to his face to find out that it is in fact a dog not a cat. And they'd laugh at him but he just says "Oh honey you have no idea what's like to see in 2D." in a I feel so sorry for you that you're stupid voice? Yeah I have no idea what I meant there XD. Bio;

Yuri is a loud, irish-born american football player. You'd think due to his vision and the item he uses to see off-the-match, it won't let him join such a sport but his helmet has a visor that works similar to his augmented glasses, it helps him cope with his 2D-vision in the matches and during practice. A lot of media and fans crictized him since by using the augmented helmet it gives him an unfair advantage in the match. Yuri just laughed at them, giving them a very clear explanation about his helmet. It was taken positively by the public and gave him a huge fan boost but for him, none of that matters, even if people hates him he would still play football.

Yuri, despite his loud, friendly, enthusiastic and optimistic personality is actually an introvert. He's very self-conscious of everything, not just his vision so he would only become very open with those he trust or if he deems like it's necessary. If you were to fit him into a stereotype, he would be the Jock; He doesn't have book smarts for common subjects but he have street smarts and is very good at solving trivial things. He's very forthright and intellectual but isn't very good at dealing with anything regarding emotions and is very ignorant if someone were to say, have a crush on him.


Explanation;

Yuri only smiled throughout the whole press-conference, the media is mostly focusing on his other teammates since while Yuri is actually the hidden trump card of the team, he's just the strategist and backup runningback in other's eye. He casually answers the simple questions that was asked to the team, being very vague about it. Idly waiting in his seat for the press conference to be over, he felt relieved when those present are given one more question left. It's quite boring, the questions are about matches or dramas and the like but mostly to others, but everyone was chill about it and took care of it. He was suprised when the journalist asked him though. "Mr.Casey, you have a condition of perspective, correct? Seeing everything in 2 dimensions. You coped it off-match with your handy glasses—" Yuri nodded slightly and fixed his glasses. The journalist continues after nodding once, fixing their own pair of glasses. "–the glasses doesn't only fix your vision but it also enhances it, you could do many advanced things you can't do with normal glasses." Yuri nodded again, as if saying 'continue on' as the journalist pauses, uncertain. "So to cope with your vision in-match you also have this installed in your helmet. There have been many complains of this from the media and also the fans of football. So to ask; doesn't your helmet gives you an unfair advantage over other teams?" the crowd, for some reason, broke into a frenzy with shouts and the like. It was a chaotic situation and quite a havoc. Everyone was shouting against each other and the guards tries their best to calm everyone down, there was journalists and fans mixed in the crowd so everyone was trying to get their point across.

What stopped them acting like wild animals wasn't the guards but Yuri's genuine, loud and cheerful laugh. He wiped a single tear from his eye and smiled to the whole crowd who was watching him with confusion. "Oh, that'sa right. We didn'ta exactly told publicly how does the lil' looking glasses in my helmet works, right-y?" Yuri is known to mix his irish accent with weird personal lingos and it confuses some that aren't familar with accents, they actually need english subtitles when he talks on television. "It was custom made by the same company that made this fella. I'm quite informed about what others think of my friend here, I don't blame any of ya' lads and lassies for thinking it that'atta way. My helmet let me see perfectly like everyone else and let me tell you, it's dang heavy if they were to make it same as this bad boy." he says and fixed his glasses. "Nope! It just let me see a-okay. Though, I do know that some people might think I'm fibberling? I've seen my so-called fans call me out for it and I never actually bothered to correct them, not because I can't or don't wanna. Some of my amazing teammates had actually corrected them but many had think that I'm just saying deceits for my own good. Na, I can't exactly prove my helmet is a-okay, since if you were to wear this bad boy- well, you can't, custom made and all. The company is also very private, so, not an option there-a." His smile drops for a second, eyeing the crowd before smiling again. "Doesn't matter if anyone trust me or not, for me, football is everything and what I really, really hate are lies and deceits. I'm good at football, I don't need help, I don't even need to wear my helmet to show everyone that I can see the ball and score points for the team to win. I wear it so that everyone on the field is equal, to help my team by seeing everything better and clearly on the field and not some kind of comic panel. The visor only let me see things clearly, no cool stuff like it's brother here, you have my word. But really, I, frankly, don't care if everyone thinks I'm cheating. I've told it once and that's it— no cheats, no unfair enhances, just skills, experience, hardwork and if we are playing pp-matches, normal, limited powers, following the rules. I will keep playing football because I like it, I don't need others to give me their validation to do what I want." He pauses and averted his eye gaze from everyone. "That's all." he ended with a big smile.

A pair of augmented reality glasses.




• An augmented reality glass with the most advanced technology of today. It allows Yuri to see everything quite clearly (20/20 even!) by converting everything in line of sight into numbers and with those numbers it converts it into images that Yuri can see. It's very convenient and it's lightweight and comfortable so he could still do whatever he wants while wearing it, whether it be skating ( he falls a lot ) , dancing, shaking his head to his favorite upbeat music, you get the idea. It can be hacked though- to show images and the like, make him see worser, blurry, etcetera, but someone have to be very talented to do it. It also can do those futuristic things like shows on the screen things and surf the internet. He just hopes the next model let him holograph things so he could pretend he has superpowers or something to fool around with people.
