Why so sleepy?: Milo, as usual, is sleepy due to one reason, and one reason alone. He frequently works the night shift at the hospital, being his career. Specifically, the emergency room. Since he was a kit, he has always wanted to help people, and becoming a doctor seemed like the most practical way to do it. At night, the worst accidents occur majority of the time because of the darkness, so he always volunteers to take any night shift. He mostly handles trauma patients because he is calm and collected under pressure, which helps a good amount in that line of work. He doesn't mind being tired, as long as he could help in any way, that's what was important.

Why so sleepy?
Rex is a smol gamer, and guess who didn’t sleep because they were playing Pokemon,
or Animal Crossing? Whatever game it is, he has it all. (esp pokemon go because he is
way too mainstream tbh) His saying is “Sleep is for the weak” but he is pretty weak and
he’s always tired because he refuses to sleep when he needs to, but his gaming skills
aren’t weak lolol. He’s too addicted to games, and it’s an addiction that he’ll never get
rid of, which unfortunately, gets in the way of his resting time. Sometimes he’ll sleep,
but he’ll probably just wake up in the middle of the night to play more games. What a lamo

Why so sleepy? Being a student isn't easy. Mo often finds himself pulling all-nighters, fuelled by only what little he's eaten and a combination of energy drinks and strong coffee. However, once he's been going like this for a while, the effect of caffeine, begins to lessen, only slightly at first and then eventually failing to have any effect on him at all. When he reaches this state, he usually starts to doze off, acting like the walking dead. When he finally finishes whatever he's been working on, Mo will usually go and sleep for twelve hours straight. He knows it's not healthy, but hey, he's a busy, busy little Kalon.

Why so sleepy?: Elliot is always sleepy. Often you'll see Elliot sleeping somewhere you wouldn't expect a person to sleep. Maybe she'll be sleeping on the bathroom floor while before that she was cleaning the floor. Elliot never has enough energy to do a lot in so little time, she has to put in naps in between her schedule. She's a lazy Kalon and just wears a blanket cape instead of getting a blanket and napping on the floor or somewhere else. Getting up while you're already tired as heck is just too much for her. However, she knew that randomly sleeping wasn't normal. Her friend, Bandit once found her sleeping while she was eating dinner. He told her to go see a doctor about how she was sleeping randomly. Elliot's doctor told her that she was diagnosed with narcolepsy. Her other friend, Cheddar has offered to live with Elliot to help her with chores whenever she fell asleep at random times. She's thankful for Cheddar, he's like a little brother to her.

why so sleepy?: drip. drip. drip. at first it was slow, a steady splash every few seconds or so. grantaire could ignore it. he had gone through many nights with minor annoyances, like the whirring sound of old, beaten up fans or distant honks of the city cars. it was nothing out of the ordinary for him to be holed up in a cheap hotel like this, and he could bear it. drip drip drip. as grantaire started to nod off, the intensity increased. but still, it was minor enough to tune out. finally, he drifted to sleep.
drip, drip, drop.
grantaire's eyes flicked open. he looked at the clock beside him, and he had barely been asleep for 10 minutes. what could be waking him this time?
glancing around the room, he searched for an answer. drip drop. and he found one.
hesitantly, grantaire touched the top of his head. sure enough, it was soaking wet. he looked above to the ceiling, and lo and behold, there was a leak.
soon realizing the predicament he was in, grantaire groaned and reluctantly emerged from the thin bedsheet cocoon he had wound himself in. he stood up and pushed the bed over to the far wall where no falling water could be seen. "this should be fine," he thought. and so, he re-wrapped himself and went to sleep.
drip drip drip drip drip.
no. not again. this wasn't supposed to happen.
moving the bed was supposed to fix the issue, not make it worse.
in grantaire's current bed position, there was a constant splattering of water on his torso. it had seeped through his protective cloth layer and started to soak his nightclothes. once again, he broke free of his shelter, and pushed the bed.
of course, the drips wouldn't stop.
each time he moved it, the worse a spot the bed was in. grantaire would snuggle up just to be awoken by more leaks. again and again, he tried to find a place where no leaks got through. unfortunately, it was not to be.
and so, the squeaking noise of a bed being dragged across a floor could be heard until the ungodly hours of morning, not not only keeping grantaire awake, but any of those unfortunate enough to be resting in a neighboring room.
thus concludes the tale of this poor kalon's misfortune of sleeplessness.

The alarm rang right night to my ears. "I'M UP! I'M UP!" I shouted. I quickly turned off the alarm and rubbed my sleepy eyes. The sunlight peeks into the most dim room. Instead of being in bed like normal, I was sitting in chair at my desk. "Oh no... I fell asleep when I was studying!" I said in a panic. Worse of all, I was tired since I stayed up so late trying to study. I don't even remember half of the things I read and today was the day of my English exams. I was not ready at all. Half-asleep, I dressed myself and made myself breakfast. As helpful as coffee would be in this situation, I hate the taste of it and it causes my stomach pains. Feeling distraught, I dragged myself to class... Next thing I know I fell asleep for half of the test... I'm so screwed.

Zillow is a night owl.

He has had this problem since he was a little one.

He sleeps all day (as show in the adopt) or he is very sleepy when in daylight. Since he is such a night owl, he is considered "allergic to sunlight". He can't be out in the sun or else it harms him (just hurts his fur and eyes a bit). (Real life problem, kinda sad. Check it out here!)

He enjoys talking with people online, especially since it's hard to keep in touch with 'regular' Kalons. During the night, he usually goes for nightly walks in the woods, looking at the nightlife around him, or he does regular things. Those include going to the 24-hour mart for groceries, riding his bike, watching T.V. shows he records while he is sleeping, or playing and chatting and watching videos on his nifty laptop!

He makes a living by taking photos of the nightlife he sees every night! He sends them to his business partner whom sell them and gives Zillow his payment! Zillow keeps his most precious photos in a scrapbook. The scrapbook is "one of the most precous items I posess" as he says.

His problem does reduce his energy in a number of ways, like how much energy it seems he has, but it has perks to him! It helps him on the glorious 'Black Friday', where he can stay in his UV protection tent for DAYS at a time to get the best deals! He goes and waits at the local mall he only gets to go to on that day! He also gets to watch owls in the fields, which are only out at 2AM, when he takes some of his best photos!

Alistair is a wildlife photographer and currently non-professional biologist, and has been for several years. On one of his outings he found traces of something odd, and, since then, has begun to slightly believe in non other than cryptids. Now, while trying to keep it a secret for fear others will think he's some nutjob, he goes out even later to track down the mysterious things he is certain he has caught glimpses of. He's been all over to try and find traces of these legendary animals, from the Lochness Monster (he insists one lives near California) and even the renown "Bigfoot" (though he personally thinks that one is the most likely to be fake). He looses a lot of sleep over his journeys into dark forests (as well as suffering from alien-plagued nightmares).

Sage is so sleepy as he was working on his newest animation for his YouTube channel! He loves animating and he really wanted to finish a small, 20 second animation of one of his OC's. It took a lot of time, becouse of the shading and an insane ammount of frames. He's really proud of how it turned out. He is hoping that a bigger animation company will noice his YouTube channel, as he also writes sorybards, animates all of it and even sometimes casts voice actors. Sage is really dedicated to what he's is doing that's why he sometimes wants to pull an all-nighter as he is too determend to just stop midway.
