Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Someone suggested I should do a Kalon based on The Last Unicorn!
This movie was a huge part of my childhood, and adulthood, and it holds a lot of personal meaning for me.
I'm pretty proud of the way this design came out! Hope you guys like it too!

They, the townsfolk, are calling upon her, thinking they have wit.

A war they are fighting, she knows it to be true.
It is her help, that they ask, that they coo.

Has she not spoken enough to show them that her fighting days are over?
She wishes not for blood to be spilled, but for peace, moreover.

She will not help them in their fight.
Not in day, nor in night.

This, she has cried.
Now, she will hide.

Not from the foe, but from the friend.
There dependence on her must end.

Back, she must go, to her home in the colored drops of rainbow light.
The waterfall, hidden behind shadow but bathed in light.
A place where she is out of their sight.

She must hurry now, for she is losing time.
Writing down with quill, her duty as protector,she resigns.
She escapes through the back, hidden amidst spruce and pine.

They ask each other, where does one find,
The wondrous unicorn who's lost her mind?
With all the scrolls that made her blind.

A warrior turned coward, like a flightless bird,
By peaceful words, have you not heard?
The very idea seems absurd!

We must find her, they cry,
Looking to the sky.
As she lets out a sigh.

They are looking too far, looking to wide.
When truly, she was just outside.
Into the forest she now strides.

They say she is lost, but truly they are.
Thinking years of war will get them far.
It is because of this ignorance she escapes without a scar.

The tale lives on, unknown if it's true,
If a unicorn was really here, and then bid "adieu",
Perhaps, the answer is inside you.

Base premise : Kalon is a "knight" for the goddess Selune. Her job is to hold (Selune's sister), Shar's minons are bay to uphold the balance in the world.

xxxDo you believe in magic?

Once upon a time, long long ago, there was a kingdom far away by the name of Anderson. A kingdom filled with magic in every corner. Their rulers were sympathetic and kind. The princess was fair and wise. Her name was Kira. However a neighboring kingdom was not as fortunate.

One day the evil queen visited Anderson and took the princess away using magic. Magic was forbidden for royals to learn and excerise but this was decided by other queen and kings. Many citizens wishes their rulers would fight with magic too. The queen and king of Anderson was powerless to the evil queen. A prince with the name Haru went off the save the princess.

The princess on the other hand had other plans. She was secretly training to become a wizard. When the evil queen went off to talk to her advisers, the princess used her magic to escape. When the evil queen found out the princess escaped, she was furious. She immediately left to find her.

The princess bumped into the prince during her escape and they decided to team up together to escape. They ran far far away and at the edge of Anderson, the were caught by the evil queen again. The prince cowered in fear against a tree and said "Princess! Run away! It's too dangerous! I'll distract her...." Kira looked over to the prince and scoffed, "You can barely stand, what can you even do in that state?" The prince looked down in shame. So, the princess and the evil queen engaged in a heated battle. When it was all over, the princess was the one standing. Before the prince could congratulate the princess, Kira fell down from fatigue and the prince had the drag her back to the castle.

When Haru and Kira entered the castle the king and queen rushed to greet them with slight tears in their eyes. They brought the princess into her room to rest. She was asleep for many days when finally she awoke with the prince next to her side asleep. "Why is he even here still?" she whispered to herself. He slowly open his eyes and grumbled "Hmmm did I fall asleep..?" Kira asked, "Why are you still here?" He stood up in a fright and mumbled, "Umm... I uhhh... wanted to learn from you. You know magic?" "Learn it yourself." Kira said and she walked off to get some food. "Wait waitt...!" He shouted in the distance.

In the end, Kira and Haru came together to learn magic together setting a new era where magic was studied by everyone, even the royals. This led to a super peaceful period in time in the land of Anderson.
