name: Aija 'Honeybee'
Link to thread: Hallow's Edgeprompt:Aija was never very keen on the idea of being a familiar. Every cat who was familiar at Hallow's Edge was terribly arrogant, deciding they were above cats not tied to a Twoleg. It was a strange practice - something Aija was more than happy to avoid.
Until she met
her.She was a young Twoleg girl, with hair as brown as the oak she sat against. She was crying.
Before Aija really knew what she was doing, she was carefully creeping up to the Twoleg's side, questioning what the poor girl was doing this deep in the woods, knowing that she would not be understood.
Much to Aija's surprise, the girl answered. She looked equally as shocked as Aija did. Realization struck them both at the same time, and as the girl reached out for Aija, the feline turned and fled deeper into the forest.
Yet try as she may, Aija could not stay away. The girl seemed to be looking for her, walking into the forest at odd hours of night. Aija watched from the canopies, incredulous at the girl's foolishness.
Such was the case one cold, snowy night. Aija was sure the girl would return to the Twoleg camp any minute, but she didn't. She fell asleep in the snow, leaned against the same tree where they first met. Aija, knowing exactly how dangerous that was for the furless creature, descended from the treetops to lay across the girl's lap, hoping it would be enough to keep her from freezing.
In the morning, Aija consented to be taken to the little witch's home. The girl wrapped her in blankets and showered her with gifts, eventually giving Aija the name Honeybee for the sweetness she saw in the feline, and for the disdainful and sarcastic nature Aija displayed.
