prompt; Arthur is ultimately afraid of being enclosed in small spaces, when he was a pup poor Arthur was kept in a small crate captured by some unruly people and left to go hungry for days on end with next to no socialisation. Ever since he does not like to sleep in small spaces and prefers to free roam and go where he pleases. In some circumstances this causes problems but it’s the only way Arthur feels comfortable in his everyday life.

prompt; Kennard is a working dog, born and bred to help his owners herd and move cattle and other livestock around the farm. Funnily enough, they're also his greatest fear. When Kennard was just a puppy, he trained often with his parents and siblings to learn the ins and outs of herding so that he could go to his forever home. One evening he'd snuck out to help his parents move the cattle in before a particularly nasty storm, wanting to get an edge on his siblings, but before his parents could usher him back inside a bolt of lightning spooked the herd, causing a stampede. Kennard was caught in the middle of it, curling up and praying that one of the cattle wouldn't step on him and kill him. In true Lion King fashion, Kennard's father leapt into the frey, grabbed his son by the scruff, and struggled to find his way out while his owners and mate struggled to get the herd under control. By the time the cattle calmed, Kennard and his father had not found their way out, and both had sustained injuries. The young pup escaped with only a broken tail, while one of his father's forelegs had been broken. Thankfully, both dogs healed with no problem, and returned to their duties in no time. Since that day, Kennard is terrified of stampedes, and is hyper vigilant towards anything that could cause one. It never stops him from herding or helping his new owner work their small herd. But, should one ever happen, Kennard knows exactly what to do; though he'll be scared, his job outweighs his fear.

Pluto is terrified of water. He can jump over puddles just fine and leap over the small creeks nearby, but if there's a lake he'll find a way to go around. He's more afraid of water when it's frozen - he's been deceived by the solid looking pond before. It's an innocent looking body of water that stands still once the temperatures drop. If Pluto drifts off suddenly, he can still feel the ice breaking beneath his paws and the cold burst of water. He refuses to go anywhere near water, for he knows that he couldn't remain in his own mind if he breaks through ice again.

Cashel is not the best with his duties, though he tries his best. Mistreated as a puppy, he suffered hearing loss from the ' discipline ' he received from his owners- being cuffed one too many times on his ears and then pushed into a crate with a cloth cover. The times he spent in the crate were horrible, leaving him with trauma of the darkness. These periods in the pitch blackness where Cashel could only sleep or wait to be freed again caused him to almost lose his eyesight completely. After being found out, he was treated in therapy and recovered from the possibility of blindness. Although he had to live his life with the condition of night blindness, which made him even more so fearful of the dark. When the sun begins to set, Cashel rushes to find his post, for he cannot bear to guard the plains in the darkness. Thankfully, he has the rest of the pack to assist, and recently, with a little ushering from the ones closest to him, he can stand underneath the cover of night and watch the as the night reveals its beauty to him.
