Pyrenean Wolfhounds are a breed recently discovered roaming the Pyrenees mountains, by a group of hikers. These hikers found a small pack of the breed and brought it to the attention of local scientists, who have deliberated and decided that these dogs originated from the Russian Wolfhound, or as they’re more commonly referred to, the Borzoi. Their theory is that a small group of them was released- perhaps escaping from a campsite or home- or a crashed truck. Over quite a long time, the dogs began to adapt slightly, and develop a hardy body, equipped with grippy paw pads that allowed for them to scale the mountains more easily. Despite being feral dogs, they have cheerful, friendly personalities, and are now open to being adopted out to homes. Although they’re quite a rare sight, scientists have begun to breed them and they’ve become a favorite among families and singles alike.

personality: Luxe is a rascal. He is always getting into trouble around the house and in the backyard. He can't help it! He just loves to play and joke around! He can be pretty calm when he wants to be, which is not often. He LOVES naps and snacks! He is always a fan of food and sleep, so whenever he gets the chance, he doesn't hesitate.
favorite chew toy: Luxe's favorite chew toy is a two and a half foot long racoon with a squeaker in it's tail and face. Luxe was given this toy as a gift for his first birthday, so it is pretty worn down. It is canvased with holes and rips, but none too severe to make the owners toss it in the trash. This raccoon is Luxe's go-to toy for playtime! He even brings it to the vet and the dog park. He does not mind sharing his toy. He loves it so much that he thinks everyone should love it to!

personality: distant and rather aloof, osiris is a stern, hard-working canine who has little time for play as a whole. He's somewhat pessimistic and runs through life on the notion that some day he will leave it, and if he doesn't make his mark what good would his time be worth? Every second he wastes doing something unproductive is a second that could have been spent adding value to his existence. He gets his self-worth from the amount of work he does, which often leads to hours of it and sleepless nights. He has little patience for friends, fun or really anything pleasurable. To him, the material possessions, pleasures and relationships of this world are worth far less than the time and energy spent to achieve them. He has a hard time settling down, and overall is a hard dog to work with.

because of his rather, lacking, personal time, osiris's favorite toy is none other than a teddy bear called fred. A childhood toy of his, that has unfortunately stuck around. He's paranoid someone will see it and take it away, or worse call attention to it and ruin his reputation. Regardless he loves the teddy with his whole heart and would chew on it regretfully day and night.

Skyla loves nothing more than curling up on a comfy spot on the sofa with her favourite toys around her at the end of a long day full of exploring and playtime.
favorite chew toy: a beaten up pink plush cat, missing an eye and it's nose at this point from months of teething and love. she has several favourite toys, but that's definitely top of the list. other favourites are her trusty blue tennis ball, a battered tug rope; and whatever sticks she happens to be able to dig out of the garden.
