Prompt: Omg ok everyone asks me this question and I always struggle to answer! Like usual though, I have to go with Hanoverian! I do own one, so I might be just a tiny itty bitty little bit partial, but they really are amazing horses. They're not unique in color like the Appaloosas or the American Paints, and they aren't special in build like the Akhal-Tekes or Arabians, but good lord do they come with personalities! Every horse I've ever met belonging to this breed has always matched so well with their owner/partner's personality that its insane. They have a compact for emotions and feelings more than any other horse I've met too. They seem to understand happiness, sadness, and anger, and know when they should feel those things. They're faces are so expressive, and they all have their own little quirks. Like my boy Silvio gets extremely, EXTREMELY offended if you get water on/in his ear, and he will give you a death stare for the rest of the time you're at the barn. The most extreme of death stares mind you. But he's also very caring, so if I'm upset and I go in his stall he senses that I'm not ok and he'll bring me gifts of hay or grain and drop it in my lap. He. Shares. His. Food. I have never EVER seen a horse willingly share his/her food like that. The whole entire breed (some other riders have Hanoverians at my barn) seems to bond with their riders in such a way as I've never seen. These horses would literally jump through fire for their partners, and that's why I would literally trust Silvio with my life. Because whatever happens, whatever terrifying horse-eating songbird pops out of that sketchy bush, we both know that we're in this together. As a team.
Good luck everyone!!!! Such a pretty girl!
Going through a rough time right now, trying to stay active in trades but I might answer slowly, I apologize!
