Breezespiral, a muscular tom, was busily readying a place the warriors of Glacial Blizzard clan would use as an outlook place- a spot hidden from others that would allow them to keep an eye on their bordering neighbors- when a newcomer came up to the group. The muscular tom paid no notice to this new cat as he was busy tying together two loose vines from within the outlook place.
The newcomer, a thin grey molly with amber colored eyes, cleared her throat to announce her presence, causing Breezespiral and Duskcloud- a longhaired tabby tom who had been working with him- to turn toward the noise to investigate. The molly appeared to be travelling alone and, from her thin appearance, seemed to be quite hungry.
The muscular tom glanced around her and noticed one thing that could possibly aid the two warriors in their quest of completing the outlook place; a piece of what appeared to be a type of fancy vine that sat next to the female. Following his eyes to the vine, the grey female seemed to tense up, as if wanting to protect this for some reason.
A grin on his lips, Breezespiral made eye contact with Duskcloud and gave him a look as if to say, 'Just go with it.' His look was returned with a small nod from the other tom and the two began to casually make their way toward the female cat who still looked on-edge.
The first to speak was the ginger tabby who had taken on a more confident persona. "Okay, okay," he began casually to put the female at ease. Although still guarded, she had relaxed ever so slightly; exactly what he wanted.
"I can see what's happening here," Breezespiral continued on his monologue, a boastful smile on his handsome face. "You're face to face with greatness and it's strange. Open your eyes, let's begin! Yes, it's really me, Maui: breathe it in!" He stepped toward her and posed, showing off the muscles in his legs and earning a laugh from the grey molly.
Meanwhile, in the background, Duskcloud pretended to return to work as he ignored the other two, all the while inching closer to where they were speaking.
"I know it's a lot; you're staring at a demigod," Breezespiral said with a playful wink and a hearty chuckle. "It's adorable! You don't know how to feel. What can I say except you're welcome- for the tides, the sun, the sky."
The molly shook her head at the tom's foolishness and turned to look at Duskcloud who had begun to move again and had caught her attention. In order to gain it back again, Breezespiral continued his monologue.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm just an ordinary demi-guy!" Getting more in character, he began to almost dance as his monologue became more song-like. He tossed the female a fish from their kill pile near where they had been working and she ate happily as she listened. "Hey, who has four paws that pulled up the sky? This guy!"
The molly snorted a laugh from behind her piece of fish but played it off as a cough as she pretended not to notice the muscular ginger tom.
"When the night got cold, who stole you fire from down below?" He gestured toward the ground as he referred to ShadowClan, their version of Cat Hell. "Oh! Also, I lassoed the sun- you're welcome- to stretch your days and bring you fun! I harnessed the breeze to shake your trees!"
With the molly completely distracted, Duskcloud was able to sneak behind her and took the fancy vine she had been guarding from the ground beside her. Waving at Breezespiral, he signaled for him to wrap things up. The ginger tabby gave the other male a small wink so he knew the message was received.
"Well, come to think of it, kid, honestly I could go on and on, I can explain every natural phenomenon," he said with a flick of his tail that he could have sworn made the female smile slightly as she ate. "Well, anyway let me say you're welcome for the wonderful world you know."
Duskcloud had made his way back to the outlook place and hidden the vine successfully before returning to the spot where it originally was, managing to stay undetected by the feasting molly.
"It's your day to say you're welcome," Breezespiral said as Duskcloud coughed to get the molly's attention before the longhaired tabby pretended to grab the vine and took off running toward the forest, knowing the female would follow him.
The ginger tom stayed behind as the two cats ran toward the forest. "You're welcome," he said in a sing-song voice as he got himself out of character. "And thank you!" He added enthusiastically at the female's retreating figure before he returned to his work. It went rather quickly thanks to his newest prize.
