Peachpaw hadn’t noticed when her friend nestled beside her with a meager mouse at her paws; however, her eyes frequently glanced away from her sparrow and towards the sounds of giggles resurfacing from the nursery, the pink-bellied mothers' smiles shining radiantly from where she could see. Their serine bliss made her think back to her own late dam and her whiskers twitched, slowly getting herself stuck in the memories of her mother’s last moments. It wasn’t until Dapplepaw nudged her shoulder gently did she jump and hastily rip herself from the vivid echoes, flinching. “Oh.. hi- How long have you.. been there, Dapplepaw?”

“Not long.” The young calico swiftly replied, shaking her head. “Can I ask you a question?”

Peachpaw quickly nodded, conjuring up a smile. “Of course!” The tortoiseshell returned to cleaning her bird, allowing her friend to select her words in peace. “Hmm.. Oh! What do you wish to be most? I mean, if you could be anything, what would it be?”

Peachpaw let the words pool in her ears, the clouds finally beginning to shatter as she collected her reply with a small glance towards the nursery, the kits throwing themselves back inside the den with the orders from their dams. "Well, I’d really like to be a medicine cat.. Because, my mom, ..you know..” She sighed, leaning over to rest her shoulder on Dapplepaw’s soft fur. Tears broiled in the young cat’s eyes as she tried to come up with a better explanation, but the words caught in her throat. “Mama was sick, but it was curable, I know it was! I could've helped! I just.. I don’t.. want that t-to happen.. to anyone else ever again.” Peachpaw hiccuped, sobbing into her friend's calico pelt now as she twisted her face into the she-cat's neck.

Prompt;; Rabbitfire only wishes for the future to be calm, safe, and without fights. She would rather focus on five cats down with greencough than with battle-scarred cats and shocked queens. Her mother died in the Great Battle, due to her wounds not being treated in time and became infected. She became a medicine cat after that and hopes that never happens again.

Prompt;; Sandstorm often dreams of the future; in her mind she sees herself breaking away from the clan and making it on her own, finding a few cats and starting her own clan. She has always thought of herself as a leader, although her shyness holds her back at times. She has far too much respect for her elders and the structure of the clan as it is currently and wishes to start one of her own.

This she-cat wants to become independent and see how far she can soar on her own without relying on the support of the family she has now. She longs to test her own abilities and instincts to see how she can fend for herself as a leader.

Prompt;; As bad as it sounds, Summersun wishes for some drama, whether it be within the clan or with another. She'd never say it out loud or to another soul but she finds life a bit bland and wants it to be spiced up. That doesn't mean she wants others to die - Summer just wants action without bloodshed. Admittedly, Summersun wants to test out her fighting skills with a stranger, and is probably why at this point in time she wants to have hostility.
