⮞ Now that you are able to put your hands on and safely work with your horse, its time to clean them up!
⇢ Your journal must have at least 4 entries, each being at least 200+ words or involve at least one art piece (can be sketches or colored with the muddy appearance of the horse) of whatever training you did that day
⇢ Training journals may be posted on the horse's page, preferably organized all into a single post so that the adoption page is not continuously bumped⇢ To clean up your horse and finally reveal their appearance, simply post a 300+ word story or an art piece of their bath time. Feel free to make them fun!
Any horse that is claimed but the tasks are not completed before the end of the event will be put up for adoption as a normal adopt. This event ends on April 26th. All tasks should be completed by then!

Name: Alto
Gender: Stallion
Color: Dappled grey reverse frame overo
Genotype: EE/aa/Gg/Dpdp
History:
Alto was born into a wild herd, but if you ask him he'd say he always lived on the ranch to young to remember his time in his ancestral herd. He gets flashes at times of ropes and his mothers call, but the rest is filled in by what his mother told him later. Their land was slowly fading away being taken over by the humans that the station had been taught to avoid. It was becoming harder and hard to do so and in time the herd found themselves often sharing the land with the humans. Until riders came, with horses unlike any the herd had seen and with there ropes they took the herd, Alto free of such thing as he would follow his mother were ever she went.
To say she was mad would be putting it lightly, Alto, on the other hand, was interested in anything and everything that much he remembers. He often found himself away from his mother and talking to the horses who lived on the ranch, watching the humans as they rode and worked. Before long he found himself become the attention of the human's something he wasn’t sure about at first but quickly got used to much to the shock of his mother.
Much of his herd still feared the humans, shied away at every touch, but Alto learned to greet them happily and learned the rewards of doing so.
The first time he was saddled was a strange event. He’d learned from the other ranch horses what it was and why the humans used it at times, but none of there word could have prepared him for what it felt like. To have something heavy and foreign on top of him. His first instinct was to get it off, but he feared in his moves he would hurt the humans, so he didn’t.
Alto became one of the easiest horses the ranch ever trained all because the humans and there work interested him so much. He was able to learn more up close and with words from the other ranch horses and ignoring his herd Alto never learned to fear the creatures. Instead, he bonded with them, bonds that would have tied him to his herd, instead it tied him to the ranch and the new life that he’d found to enjoy much more than the one he was born into, even if he didn’t get the chance to live it.
