Name Reasoning: Unlike a lot of cats, Muddystep has always been fond of the mud. Although her kithood name was Milkweed, her siblings jokingly called her Muddy. It stuck, especially when she used mud to save the from a fox. After she joined Eclipse Clan, Muddystep decided to embrace the moniker "Milkweed" in favor of the more meaningful Muddy. Step was given to her because of how her coat makes her always look like she's stepped in mud. She couldn't be happier.

Reason for Name:
This Tom cat has always been small physically yet large on life. Growing up he idolized his older brother Tigerbright, a ginger tabby mink who was 12 moons his senior and already wore his new title of warrior proudly. The two brothers went everywhere together, even when young apprentices should be around the den with their mentors. Tiger Shadow always preferred the company of his brother, claiming to be having special private lessons with the tom.

"Look at me, brother!" Tiger Shadow would call, excitement in his voice. "I can fight just like you!" The young tom then proceeded to show off his best fighting moves on a rock or whatever happened to be nearby, which never failed to amuse the older Tigerbright.

Tiger Shadow went on to become a warrior at the age of 12 moons, proving his worth to the elders and his mentor by protecting his brother- who had become entangled in a human hunting trap- from a predator wanting to make an easy meal. It was one of the few times in the clan history that an apprentice earned their warrior title without being administered an assessment, but with the tenacity the young apprentice showed in which he fought as well as the compassion for his brother to protect him with his life was much more than enough to earn him a warrior title.

Although the encounter with the hunting trap severely maimed the older brother who had to retire as an elder at the tender age of 24 moons, the earning of a warrior name as well as the encounter with the predator fueled his passion to become the best warrior he could possibly be. At the age of 31 moons, Tiger Shadow (then called Littleshadow) earned his current title for lead warrior when he challenged and defeated his mentor- the previous lead warrior and his father- in a brutal battle. He finally received his current name when he defeated his father, earning with it his title and the honor to lead their clan in battle

Name Reasoning: Cougarstrike got his name because he singlehandedly chased a cougar away from the camp just before his warrior ceremony. At least, that's the way he tells it. In reality, his sister and their mentors were there too. Admittedly, he did lead the attack (that's where he got his scar), but the cougar was so young that it bolted without putting up too much of a fight.

Born OakKit, her name was changed to StingKit after a jellyfish stung her and rendered her extremely sick for two moons. During those two moons it was touch and go as to whether or not she would survive. In the end as she started recovering MackerelReef sat her down and spoke to her about the choices that lead to her injury and that this would be a permanent set back for the rest of her life that she would have to work harder to catch up and stay on top.
Her name is her motivation and her will to live her life. She could have died yet she survived and now it is up to her to make the most of it.
