What's in their backpack?: Rocks. Not even particularly rare ones, either - maybe they're weirdly shaped, or he just likes the color, or maybe even he likes the way it sparkles in the sunlight when you tilt it at just the right angle.. For whatever reason, his backpack is filled with the things.

What's in their backpack?: Ponyo likes to collect bugs, especially ladybugs, thus the ladybug bag. So she carries around little mason jars with poked in holes with the lids. The reason Ponyo collects ladybugs is because her mother adores them, she likes to bring them home to her mother so her mother can always have them by her bedside or let them go and watch them fly away. Ponyo claims the jars are special because she never has trouble catching ladybugs with the jars. Every time she goes on an adventure she always makes sure to bring her mason jars!

I like how they would be an adventurer and just having a small toad item that they carry around. Maybe they like toads or maybe its special! <3
