What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

we've moved a lot since we were military, but no matter where we went, my mom's obsession with quilts and amish type furniture has aways stayed the same. we've always had quilts in every house. Any smell from a yankee candle reminds me of home. My mom is OBSESSED with candles & burners. I swear, every room has a different smell. My room smells like rain, my brothers smells like cherry blossoms, my parents room smells like vanilla. And then the hallways smell like a big mixture of all the smells.
I guess it wouldn’t be home without the smells blasting in my face every second though lol.

Something that reminds you of home: I have two because I couldn't choose.... The Northern Lights over Lake Superior near where I used to live, seeing the northern lights was my favorite thing, they were so beautiful.
The second is this old ice house (Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum) thats right off the shore of Lake Superior, that my older sister and I always swam out to in the summer and jumped off (Like the girl in the picture XD)
I haven't been back there in a long time since we moved, and that was always the thing that made Minnesota feel most like a home. I loved going down to Superior and getting ice cream from this cute old train car right by the water, then hunting for sea glass/angel tears for an hour or two!

Something that reminds you of home: I would say what most reminds me of home would be Willow Tree Angels, specifically this one. My mom has held onto the same ones for years before I ever came along - and I'm about a month off of 19 now - so they always found a visible place in the house no matter how many times we rearranged or moved. Besides that, she would always claim that each one she owned was a member of our family (herself, my twin sisters, or me), and she always made sure to note that the one pictured was me, not only for the resemblance, but the fact that that one in particular held a dog so close, as I have always been the most in tuned with the animals we have owned, especially the dogs. Funny thing is, if I look to my left right now, the same angel is peeking out from a shelf, a little worse for wear and missing her wings, but still standing all these years later.

magnolia trees. i used to have an enormous magnolia tree in my front yard. i would spend summer days climbing the lower limbs and collecting flowers for my mom. the smell of the flowers always brought a smile to my face. i remember collecting the red seeds dropped beneath the tree and planting them around, hoping for more magnolias. when i got older i would sit between the roots and read books or daydream. i carved my name into the trunk so that it would forever be mine. whenever i see a magnolia tree it brings me back to the days of limb climbing and book reading.
