what they like best about autumn: the pumpkin spice scent. cecily is in love with it. she loves the air freshener that they sell that is scented pumpkin spice. she loves the pumpkin spice candles. they're all throughout her small apartment. she also loved pumpkin things in general. pumpkin pie, carving pumpkins, you name it. you could just make so many things out of them, it amazed her.

what they like best about autumn:
Ke Kau’s favorite part of autumn is the leaves. It seems pretty vague with just that, but they love when the seasons change. The way the leaves begin to change from their bright beautiful green to the beautiful yellow/orange/red/brown colors. When the time comes that the leaves fall from their branches, Ke Kau is always outside stepping on every leaf they can. They track how many leaves crunch beneath their feet and how many make little to no sound at all. Once the season is over though, they are more of a couch potato as they wait for the next leaf to fall.

what they like best about autumn:
Warm drinks are their favorite part of the season, especially apple cider and coffee! The way the steam warms their face and nose when they take a sip fills them with a calm serenity. It reminds them of the way windowpanes fog up whenever they press their nose against the cold glass. The warm feeling of the drinks brings them warmth, like being wrapped up in a blanket or two while they watch the raindrops from a late fall shower trickle off of the bare branches of the trees outside. It's the comfort and the homeliness they like the most, and the sweet drinks just amplify those feelings and makes them feel truly at peace.
