Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Why the smoothie?: You'd think it be because the smoothie not only looks but sounds extremely tasty, but you'd be wrong - at least partially. The reason Reyes likes this smoothie flavor so much is mainly because it's the only flavor that tastes good (in his opinion) that he isn't allergic to! That's right - Reyes's other favorite flavors include Kiwi, Mango, Pineapple and Strawberry, but unfortunately for him, he's allergic to all of them. Curse his stupid allergies!

Why the smoothie?:

This is one of her favorite smoothies, for the taste and the benefits she gets from it. why the smoothie?: it holds a special place in his heart.
back when he was younger and money was tight, his mother would bring him and his siblings out to the local market to buy handfuls of cheap berries; once they returned home, they tossed them into the old blender with some water and ice, perhaps even a sprinkle of sugar or a bit of milk if they had some to spare. they'd all sit around a little worn-down table on cushions on the crowded hardwood floor and chatter as his mother brought cups, hoarded straws, and the pitcher full of the smoothie with a smile, pouring them each what seemed to be a plentiful amount back then. if they were feeling especially opulent that day, they'd add a few berries or crushed nuts on top, and sometimes even a dollop of fresh yogurt. on the most special occasions, kou would get an entire scoop of ice cream on top of his smoothie; that special occasion would often be his birthday or an especially successful day in his family's little corner shop.
he still makes the smoothie quite often, a small smile curving his lips as he adds toppings from the organic grocery store of the city he lives in now, the same excitement welling up inside him as he sits down on a velvet-cushioned chair at the glass dining table of his apartment. it's always brings nice memories of times that were a bit troubled yet simple and happy.

Why the smoothie?: In all honesty, it's the only smoothie he knows how to make! He'll be sitting, or rather standing, in the kitchen, making a smoothie (possibly mango) when he realized he had put in too much mango and had to start all over again. He tries a second time, now there's too little mango. And he tries a third time. He put in the right amount of mango, but it tastes funny? So the boy goes back to the one smoothie he somehow knows how to make: the tropical smoothie. If he could, he would get recipes of other smoothies and learn how to make them, but he always forgets to; when he does remember, the store is all out of the recipe he was looking for.

Why the smoothie?| well, Kiwi's got to be the best, right? Not only is it a smoothie, it's also an adorable bird! As Sammy lives in New Zealand, he sees these birds around a lot. He thinks they're darling and crouches in hides watching them with binoculars many times a day. So he first tried a kiwi in honour of these birds, and after the first bite started eating them with every meal! He puts kiwi slices on his breakfast, drinks kiwi smoothies with everything, has kiwi pie for dessert, and even boils kiwi's in water to remove the hairs and eats them like an apple!

And as well as it being delicious, it's also very healthy and full of almost 20 vital nutrients including five times the vitamin C of an orange per kiwi! So Sam thinks he must be a very bright and healthy boy. And it's true, too! He has a varied diet as well as just kiwis, exercises every day, takes bird-watching hikes, and volunteers to care for kiwi birds. Yes, he loves kiwis that much!

Why the smoothie?
Cami loves the color pink and being trendy with being healthy. Her favorite art in fact, is food as she is an excellent baker as well as drink mixer. The recipe of this smoothie has been passed down from generation to generation and was a birthday gift from her mother. The café she runs has also gone on for generations, and she loves it dearly. This smoothie is the emblem of her happiness, childhood, work, and enjoyment.
