The night grows darker with every coming minute. There's no denying the fact that you need to get out of the dense overgrown forest as quick as your legs can take you- but something catches your eye from the thick shrubbery. Something almost.. Shiny? It's quite enough to stop you in your tracks.
The glimmering 'thing' appears to wiggle out of the bush, revealing a scornful viscet covered from head to torso with what looks like sharp vines made out of gold?!
"How did that get there?!"
The viscet looks you dead in the eye, opening its jaws as if it were going to say something.

Something.
But what?

I LOVE THIS TRAIT SO MUCH UGH HORNS ARE MY LIFE!! I'm super excited to be able to make an event 'cet for y'all this time! ;u;

No extras, but you have unlimited words + art as long as it relates to the story in some way!
You may rewrite the beginning in your own words/replace 'you' with a character (you can use any o' my 2 'cets in an OOC manner in the story if you wish) , but keep the beginning events the same regardless.

Prettying is ok! you can include the above art piece in your form as I'd count it as prettying. that piece WILL go to the winner, no exception.

Copper stepped back in alarm, his
breath heavy. "G-get out? W-why?"
He watched as the viscet opened
his mouth once more. "You mustn't stay any
longer. For you will be cursed the longer you
look at me and my golden vines. Something
about Aspire's words made Copper shiver.
"C-cursed?" Copper seemed confused and dazed.
"Yes cursed, now please for your own good."
Aspire incouraged the Viscet to leave, for he
did not want him to end up like himself,
wrapped in the shackles that kept him from
exploring the world, but instead he was confined
to the forest which he was forced to call "home."
