favorite flower & why [300 words]: sal loves sunflowers. they remind her of her old grandparents who owned a farm of sunflowers. she used to run out in the fields and grab her old binoculars, peering out and watching the birds eat the seeds. soon, the tattered sunflowers fell victim to a plower, being buried under dirt to grow again, and oh so many more grew, my friend.

Pimprite | Caspian Qu

Caspian's favorite plant is a specific type of succulent ! An Echeveria succulent to be exact. Cas loves the diversity in shape and color found in this plant. But his favorite part of them has to be their symmetry. They indeed aren't perfectly symmetrical, however he still has a liking for their shape and growth pattern. Not to mention- they make for beautiful decoration. Echeverias being used as decor is how Cas became familiar with them. First encountered when he made his first ever companion. She was an elderly kal that collected all types of succulents. She had them sweetly nested in terrariums, hanging from ceilings and placed on counters. Her home was a giant garden, decorated from top to bottom. These particular succulents always stood out to him. He still is in ownership of the small Echeveria she gave him. It currently sits on his work desk, planted in a pot made to memorize his old pal, separated by thousands of miles of land.

Nothing could compare to the morning dew,
other than this beautiful flower,
gracing us with its delicate flower,
covering the green of it's stem like freshly fallen snow...

Their favourite flower is the Lotus. It's radiant white petals seem to slice through even the thickest of nights, always shining out to her when she looks at the small pond in her makeshift garden. It's her favourite flower because as she was growing up, her fur never went with many colours until she decided to take a hit and went for a trek with her friends through a swamp. In the darkness under the trees, something white had caught her eye and she broke away from her group to get a better view. Lo and behold, it was a precious lotus. "A beautiful flower.. springing up from a murky, filth ridden swamp?" She had asked herself, and then looked back at her own fur. No longer did she see it as a curse, but as a blessing. Maybe something beautiful could come of her?

She was ecstatic to get home, a big ol' grin on her face as she carefully carried the plant within a plastic bag she had brought along.
Her friends all chuckled with approving grins when she showed them, as they knew she had a passion for gardening. Maybe next year they'd take her to the desert, and see if she would be able to grow some succulents too? Maybe her garden could host many more plants besides the usual rosebush or apple tree. A few weeks after the trekking, Sylvia had planted her newfound lotus in a small pond she had made herself. It wasn't much to brag about, but it held the swampy water she had picked up, with the help of big plastic food containers, of course. She even had a few tadpoles swimming around.

Her friends noticed a positive change in Sylvia, ever since they went to that murky, disgusting old swamp. [300/300]
