Empowering Moment: A moment Pike felt empowered was when he was struggling to survive at sea. After the ship crashed against the waves and the crew was thrown overboard, Pike had blacked out. When he awoke he was surprised to find himself still alive, a large gash on his forehead, but his body overall intact. At first Pike was terrified, he saw no land as far as the eye could see, only the terrifying dark blue of the ocean. Pike would call out hoarsely for his best friend and shipmate, Bjorn, but there was nobody. Nothing but the vast murky blue and Pike. Pike felt that he was going to die, never had he been in such a situation between life and death. - Wip
