Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient. Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off, which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

"Well... y'see, I'd rather you keep it under the radar, but... while some kalons chew gum, and others wax, I have a habit to chew on... well... moss.
I know that it sounds strange, but hear me out! Although the flavor is a bit odd, the texture is similar to that of a thin, fragile, cardboard-like material. Hey, it's not like I actually eat it, or anything!
To be quite honest, it actually helps calm me down when I get overworked or stressed. It's weird to spit out, especially if you're caught while doing so, but the feeling of my sharp teeth cutting into the soft, bumpy substance is rather soothing, if I do say so myself."

"I'd like to describe myself as a very open person. I've got class and I'm not afraid to stand
up for what I believe in. I love video games and comic books, as well as rock climbing and
making model airplanes. My favorite place is my garage, because that's where all my equip
ment is. My least favorite place, however, is school. Big surprise there, haha! Even though
I could care less what people think about me, I still don't like going from class to class and
doing homework. Luckily for me we have advanced shop class, but all we did was build a
freakin' bird house! My worst subject is Math, and my best subject is Science. We have a
uniform, but I like to override the dress code with some 'subtle' changes. Contrary to popular

make the world a better place with my creations and discoveries. Since I also love rock climbing
I might also make that a part time activity I enjoy in my free time. That's not to say I won't try

involving machines, and you'll usually see me tinkering away in my garage after my lesson. Some
might call me a genius, but that also might just be my ego talking."

Interesting Fact: She once got very close to beating the Guinness World Record of longest video game
marathon playing World of Warcraft which was 29 hours and 31 minutes.
