Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient. Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off, which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Albino alligator!

I actually saw an albino alligator at a nearby museum and was allowed to pet it, it was a few years ago (For school) and it was an individual who couldn't be released back into the wild due to a leg injury, I think from a boat? Anyway, it passed through our city at the local wildlife museum on its way to a more proper rehabilitation facility and I've never quite gotten it out of my mind, what a beautiful animal

ANYWHO, its been on my mind as of late so I figured it'd be fun to make an adopt inspired by it
A little simpler, visually softer/more subtle than my other ones

What do they do to help wildlife?;;
Cain works for an animal society that helps injured wildlife, but not your regular cat, dog, or horse. Cain helps all of the exotic animals that you wouldn't normally see in a normal Zoo, as he makes sure they end up in very open Areas, or Zoo's that aren't necessarily caged, but they aren't in the wildlife. It is more of a wildlife reservation area. He makes sure all the exotic animals are healed and well taken care of, if they are fit to go back to the wild once they are healed, they release them in areas that are specifically reserved for animals that have been injured before. So no hunting is allowed whatsoever. If the animal[s] are not fit to go back to the wild, Cain cares for them dearly and makes sure to always hang out with them so they don't get lonely, if there are no more of their kind in the reservation area. Cain also makes sure that the animals are well accompanied and have many things that can entertain them.
Cain workplace, the reservation/medical hospital for animals, is called
'The Wildlife Exhibit for Animal Freedom'
or just 'Exotic Animal Hospital'
as they only treat exotic animals, meaning they don't treat house cats or your ordinary dog. They treat animals that come from exotic places around the world, including Tigers, Dolphins, Alligators[they have 1 albino alligator which they rescued as an abandoned hatchling], deer, wolves, the Wildlife Exhibit has many other animals, and they treat them extremely well so that every animal and every human which is taking care of the animals feel safe.

"Lily ... Lily!" Cain called, looking into the murky water, "Lily, where are you, you bright, white,, Alligator!" Cain exclaimed, holding a bucket of small bits of food for the hatchling albino alligator, he had a great connection with the creature, it was like his own family. Cain put a piece of food down and sat down beside it, laughing after he saw the bush move, "I guess you were hungry huh?" he chuckled and then reached his hand out towards, as he liked to call her, Lily. "Here, come here." He patted the ground in front of him, he lay down and smile. The runty white alligator crawled over and started nibbling on the piece of food, Cain sighed and closed his eyes for a moment of silence and peace with his friend. Well, of course until the very kind Jessie showed up, greeting him. "Hey Cain, how are you today? I see you're hanging out with your little friend again." she smiled sweetly and sat down on the bench and watched, today was the day the reservation was closed to visitors, so their day wasn't too busy and they could take a load off. Her and Cain both worked at the reservation as they both had a great connection with animals, and they absolutely loved working with wildlife and helping out with wildlife, and just in general being in tune with Nature. Cain looked at her and waved, then looked back down at the small scaley creature, "Yea, I have to visit her everyday. She's like my best friend!" he laughed, then continued to pet her, he saw that Jessie was surprised at how he was petting a, well, an alligator. In fact, he thought it was quite surprising too, but he loved interacting with his small friend and kept petting her, closing his once again, sighing. Jessie smiled and walked off, going to do her own thing with her animals. Cain watched as Lily finished her food and he felt something curling up in his arms, which he then opened his eyes and saw that Lily was sitting in his arms! Cain was certainly surprised and he didn't expect it, but tried not to flinch to scare the creature. Cain smiled nervously, when Lily had licked his face? Yes, the small, white, 'vicious', scaley creature, that was in fact, not a dog, licked his face. He was taken aback, which he then pat her on the head smiley very nervously. Cain guessed he had a better connection with wildlife then he thought. As the small alligator fell asleep in his arms, he chuckled nervously, then loudly.
"Animals are so weird. I love this Job!"
Cain then relaxed, and thought what he was going to do tomorrow when he had to deal with the larger animals, he would miss his small companion. His best animal friend. Cain sighed and started to drift off to sleep, thinking about how he was going to deal with his animals tomorrow, until the end of the day when he could rest with his little alligator friend.

Cain woke up later to Lily starting to crawl away, which Cain jerked awake and somewhat smacked himself in the face, which made him fully awake. He realized It was the next day, and was really surprised, maybe hurt, that no one came to get him to tell him to go home. Cain's day started with dealing with the panthers and helping them out, as one of them had a injured leg, and the other had fallen, "I thought Cat's always landed on their feet!" he laughed to himself, it almost seemed like the panther scoffed at him. Cain had a sense of humour that only made him laugh, suddenly he was startled by someone calling out to him, he was surprised, it was a familiar voice though it was a public day, so most staff were not allowed to leave their post. He turned and saw a bright smile shining above the crowd waving with both hands, it was Pink. Cain smiled and pat the panther on the head then walked away to go greet his friend, "Hey P.D. What are you doing here? Wouldn't you rather be playing with your gadgets then hanging out with animals all day? Watching me nurse animals back to health?" P.D chuckled, replying with a scoff, "Dude, I came to visit you, once I heard you moved here, I had to come check it out! Even if it's a little far from where I live." Cain was now the one rolling his eyes and scoffing, "Uhm. You live like, in the city. That's like a 5 hour drive to here. Did you drive early in the morning?" P.D Leaned on the railing. "Well, I also came to visit Miss JellyBean who also works here Cain." she paused, "I'm so glad you two decided to start helping out with wildlife and nature," pausing again, longer this time, with more of a sad look, "It's better than what I decided to do." Cain sighed, "P.D, your job is awesome, I mean, you work for the government, you're like a- a- Professional Hacker? A professional coder- eh- That kind of thing. I think it's pretty cool." P.D grinned then grabbed him by the neck and noogied him, laughing, which they both were, "Thanks dude. Anyway, I'm going to go visit Jessie! Good luck with your animals!" She smiled and waved as she walked off, then turned and ran once she saw a glimpse of Jessie, holding a bird and giving an introduction on them to children. Cain walked back to the panthers and took off their bandages, wrapping new ones around, surprisingly all the animals at the Wildlife Reservation were pretty tame. "House cats almost."
Cain loved his job. He was so glad all the animals were good, and he was so glad he was helping the environment. He smiled and walked off to do all his other jobs.

[P.S Sorry this is more like a story instead of explaining what he had to do as a job, but I thought I could more in-depth in the 'day and life of Cain' to explain more of what he does and his personality and how he deals with the animals he helps. Hope this doesn't count as an extra because I honestly tried on this one. thank you!]

Cain eats meat and vegetables and such,
though he does protect wildlife he knows
that what he eats he eats for a reason.
He doesn't waste any of the food he
gets whatsoever. He makes sure to
buy the food he knows he will eat
[including his favorite;; fish,, which
his favorite would be Salmon, or Tuna.]
His house includes: a small pond full
of fish, huge trees, a bunch of
grass and flowers,
basically everything he can
do to make the animals
he keeps feel comfortable.

Cain absolutely loves where he lives,
and where he works. He works with
animals all day, and the animals
he loves. Including his favorite,
of course, the Albino alligator.
Which is extremely rare. Cain
adores living out near the reservation,
it's in an extreme place for climates,
meaning it switched it's climate a bunch.
But he thinks it's perfect, especially
because it suits all the animals
needs. He loves feeding them
and interacting with them as well.

What do they do to help wildlife?;;

Ash may appear aggressive and dangerous to people who don't know her very well, but in truth, she's really just a gentle giant. This is shown very well by her actions towards other water dwelling creatures.
