Khimaira Friesians - Birthday Event #171

Postby certified » Tue Aug 01, 2017 5:25 pm

What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Show Name: short stuff
Barn Name: Titchy!
Age: 2
Height: 15hh
Halter Color: surprise
Pearl Color: surprise
What's he like?: what's he like..don't let this beautiful stud deceive you. He is a stubborn mule!! He doesn't listen..he bites and kicks!! The only time you get any "kindness" is when you have treats, even then he goes go take your whole hand off!! This small stallion should come with a warning label "handle at own risk"

(Also..is it possible to make him 14hh?? Just so he can square off to bigger stallions like "YEAH and!! I'll still bite your butt!!) Sorry..randomness, amusing thought bubble popped up lol

Show Name: Transference of Conscious
Barn Name: Meld
Age: 8 years
Height: 17.0 hh
Halter Color: Pale Green
Pearl Color: Old Stone Grey
What's he like?: It would depend on who you asked; his riders? They all adore him; he's eager to please, always willing to go through with new happenings, and he's rather affectionate toward people in general. Though he doesn't seem to know what to do with younger children, he's a good and sturdy mount for beginners, as well as aprovidong an opportune last minute fit in as a backup for a more experienced competitor in his field.
But he's a completely different animal when another stallion comes into play while not in hand. The halter comes off, he's free to roam in the pasture, and Meld is a mix of angry squealing and furious hooves stamping all across the ground. He's never seemed to get on well with other horses, even mares or geldings as docile as they come throw him into a tizzy. But it's only when his halter comes off; leave it on, hitched to a lead or not, and he's a generous and caring guy. Unclip the halter and hang it on its hook, you'd best get ready for some frightening noises and keep an eye on him lest he gets loose and tries to show he's the dominant one.

Show Name: All I ask of You
Barn Name: Raoul
Age: 5
Height: 17.6hh
Halter Color: Hunter's Green
Pearl Color: Surprise me?
What's he like?: Gallant, young, and dashingly handsome, Raoul is a noble of fine breeding. He is a hopeless romantic and a traditionalist. A loyal friend, he risk anything, even his own life, for those he cares about. He's a noble stallion and a charmer. He's a favorite among the ladies, but holds out, looking for true love. He's a dreamer, and will fight for what he believes in. However, he's sometimes a bit too quick to trust or forgive, making him seem a bit naive to most. He can be easily manipulated because of his caring, loyal attitude. Raoul is also the perfect gentleman. He's kind, sweet, romantic, and handsome; everything a mare could want in a stallion. Although he does have a fierce protective streak for his loved one, which can make some relationships difficult. Overall, however, he is a good stallion, and a good friend.
