What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Favorite Disney Movie and Why?: the princess and the frog! not only is the main character a strong, independent woc, but she grew up very much like i did - in poverty but with such a loving family we hardly noticed! my dad always dreamed of opening his own restaurant as well, a little shack on the beach, with me as the head chef. unlike tiana and her father, though, he gave up on his dream. i'm also from the south, so the movie in general is very close to home for me. amazing music, gorgeous animation, and a heartwarming story make it not only my favorite disney movie, but my favorite movie of all!

Favorite Disney Movie and Why?: The Hunchback of Norte Dame; I honestly love the aspects of how religion supposedly sanctified the persecution of others, how it portrayed that it was wrong. As a child I just liked it because it was colorful, it was gypsies and talking gargoyles, but as an adult it shows many worldly aspects that were true, both in the past and that still happen today. When I saw it again while in high school it was an eye opener, and it got me more involved in history. It may be a movie, but historically it has a good handful of things that actually happened.
