why whenever amph was a wee lad, she found herself spending most of her time at her grandparents house. her father worked for most of the day to provide a living for her and he didn't want to leave her alone at the house. he was worried someone would break in. so each and every morning her dad would wake her up at the early time of 3 AM and drive her to his parent's house. from then on, she would enjoy a stack of pancakes with her pappy. these weren't any ordinary pancakes, though. they were a special recipe that consisted of banana slices, chocolate chips, and blueberries. but after a few years, it was evident that her grandfather was nearing the end of his time. after his passing, she continued to make the breakfast because it made her feel more secure and like he was there, comforting her and pushing her on. Where Derya lives, the summers are always hot and humid. For him, there's nothing better to help a guy cool down than a nice frozen treat; in particular, frozen yogurt! While other frozen snacks like gelato and ice cream are fine as well, Derya has found frozen yogurt is ever so slightly lighter, perfect for hot days when you don't want to eat a bunch in the first place. Plus, there's a frozen yogurt shop not far from his home, with everything from tangy fruit flavors to rich peanut butter and chocolate and all the toppings and sauces one could ever want - And it's all make-your-own, letting him build almost any froyo he can imagine! (His favorite topping is the strawberry popping boba; it's got a texture and a flavor he absolutely loves. Puts it on all his yogurt, no matter how conflicting the flavors would seem)
