Personality: annabelle is a soft gentle visc with a motherly nature. she constantly takes in lost and lonely viscets and does everything she can to give young viscets the mothers they might lack. she has this motherly instinct because she herself cannot have kids, so she instead adopts viscets in need. although she is gentle like a mother, she is extremely driven and can be aggressive to anyone who hurts the ones she cares about.
Short story: annabelle was born with a disease that caused her to become infertile before her mating age. this greatly saddened her, as she had always dreamed of caring for her young babies. but of course she didnt let this effect her, instead deciding to use this disease to take in viscets who didnt have parents. annabelle didnt find a viscet without parents until she met a small, brown viscet who she named
bagheera.
annabelle didnt become a mother until she met bagheera, a young viscet hidden under piles of leaves. he was extremely malnourished, and left behind by his old pack. annabelle took in the babe, and spent weeks nursing him back to the fat and healthy viscet he was meant to be. when he was finally back to normal size, annabelle learned that the young visc had been abandoned at birth, and did not have a name. it was days of deliberation before she decided on the name bagheera, and nicknamed him heera. annabelle dedicated herself to being a mother, and bagheera was the first to make her a mother. they grew inseperable, and bagheera became a mommas boy. they may not look alike, but theyre truly familly.
Extra: the story of the lost cowbell. annabelle was given her bell when she was first born, and as she grew, she learned to appreciate the gold metal hanging from her neck. it was her mothers passing that made her truly fall in love with the cowbell. she was just a few years old when the ribbon holding the bell was snagged on a tree and ripped off. she didnt notice it for hours, as she had been playing eith the other visclings in the pack. when she finally realized the bell was missing, she was thrown into a panic and began to search. annabelle searched for months for the bell, wishing to find the only thing she had left of her mother. it was nearly a year after losing the bell and she had finally given up, until she was scavenging and found a birds nest with something shiny hidden inside. she didnt want to intrude, and instead found a higher spot to look and realized the birds had her cow bell! she managed to reach the nest and grabbed her bell. annabelle got a new ribbon, and now makes sure she never loses her bell again.
