Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Sorry it's been so long since I last made a kalon-- school was tough this past semester.

This sweet kal is based off of my ball python, Basileus. <3 His morph is called "soul sucker."

Ever since he was little, Nathen had a love for exploration, getting into places he shouldn't whilst scaring his parents daily. As he grew the world became a unknown land of possibilities that begged for adventure!

On these adventures the kalon climbed mountains, explored deserts, and even sailed seas. However, out of all the places he visited his favorite location by far was Australia. The Blue Mountains and Great Barrier Reef held so much beauty and danger that made it absolute perfection in his eyes.
The variety of animals never fails to amaze him, no matter how dangerous, the rush of surviving a close encounter makes his pulse race in wonderful ways.

His determined and lovable curiosity makes spending time with this kalon an experience to be remembered! Willing to go places no other dared go with a never give up mindset that dubbed him one of the best. No one is perfect however, vertigo has been effecting him recently and has been the cause of a few close scrapes that almost resulted in severe injury.. this of course doesn't stop him.

He is a total sweetheart, extremely easygoing, generally down for whatever regardless of the situation: walking, relaxing with friends, trying on different outfits and accessories not necessarily to keep but for fun. He never gets nervous or fidgety, and never hesitates to do what he wants or what he needs to do. While he's relaxed, he's definitely not the lazy type, always aiming to snoop around and look at things. Perhaps he's so relaxed because he avoids putting himself in unnecessarily stressful situations? Although, he only ever opens his mouth to yawn or eat, he hardly ever speaks.
