hey there, its charlie. i haven't been writing so much in this for weeks! the company has been a huge hellhole. everything has been chaos up until now, but it's finally begin to clear up; here's a small summary of what's been going on.
so this ceo of our detective company has gotten himself into a pickle, with a lot of accusations pointing against him. a girl apparently committed suicide, but a lot of people are saying it's not just that. a witness says the ceo killed the girl, but nobody knew why, and the guy had no evidence.
there's also this new guy, well, a new guy like me working here, his name is apollo, and he's usually quite stiff and awful. he has no sense of humor, and no willing to make any friends. i try to open up to him, but it never works. at all. we've had a bit of beaf between us, and to top it off, he chose the guy who maybe killed the girls side! he's wrong in the head. while there is a chance he may be telling the truth, i won't fall for it.
so, while everyone is bickering over what little evidence there is, i started doing some sleuthing of my own. i was still a newbie, so what i was doing may be a little illegal, but you gotta break some rules sometimes. the company gives each detective/employee a journal to keep notes and everything. i suppose this guy would have one two, so i snooped around his work area, and, of course, it was there!! how great? it gave me a lot of important information. apparently, he had an affair with the girl, and he cheated on her, so she threatened him, saying she could make him lose his job since she was also of high rank. it didn't say anything else, so that was all i had so far.
but little did i know, apollo, was also on the case. this made me so frustrated. we already didn't get along, and we each had crucial parts of the case. awful. so, we reluctantly teamed up, putting together our evidence.
he didn't have anything too exciting, but he did find some sticky notes by his house in the bushes saying times and constantly the word "remember" written all over it. it was quite exciting, even if it was creepy.
during this time of investigation, me and apollo strangely grew close as we shared clues and came up with theories together. but, as a team, we gathered a lot of information, and quickly put the pieces together. seeing things from different perspectives is really strange but really helpful!
so, skipping ahead through some disturbing facts and details, in the end, we figured out the ceo was at fault. the girl was having a secret affair with her, but was also cheating on her. she had a lot on him, so she threatened to have him fired. he took this way too seriously, making a whole whack-o plan, and going through with it, leaving her looking like she took her own life. he has been put in jail, and apollo and i have never been better friends.
