Anaru is a bit of a quiet kalon, he doesn't speak much and doesn't care to listen to others unless they're talking directly to him. He tends to be rude as well, as he constantly interrupts others when he does speak, but he is far from inconsiderate; he is always caring about others and if he sees someone needing help, he will go out of his way to help. His shyness sometimes gets in the way of this, but usually he sees helping others as of utmost importance. Anaru tends to also be on the lazy side; he never puts much effort in, and often doesn't want to try something unless it will directly profit another or himself. This often turns into a problem, but he doesn't really care.

Apollo is a stargazing teen from a little beachside town that he hates. Locals have seen him standing atop buildings with his hands cupped around his mouth screaming to the stars, begging to be remembered. His parents have reported him missing on several different occasions, only for him to show up a few weeks later with a dirt caked face and hunger pang frame. Rumors say when he goes missing he jumps into empty cargo train compartments in an effort to get away, but the pathetic excuse of a town sucks him back like a black hole and he’s begging his parents forgiveness.
His peers have seen him lingering by the beach long after dark, even during storms with bare feet in the water as strong winds blow salty, humid air into his face. His teachers regard him as quiet and unfocused, his head’s always in the clouds they say and he rolls his eyes. He’s always dreaming of something bigger, something outside of this town, he plans to leave and never get sucked back in like he expects his peers to.
