extra story/writing: A lone kalon walked through the dusty streets, her face covered by her long white hair. Kalons stared at her. She looked suspicious, creepy even. What was wrong with her? Why would she hide her face? Her name was Lillian. Lillian walked solemnly on, ignoring the onlookers. She'd always been strange to others, but they didn't know about her. Her eyes were so- messed up. She saw no point in even seeing the world around her. She often ran into other kalons, as well as other things. Lillian truly couldn't help it. But it wasn't untill that day that any kalon dared to speak to her. Emmett had seen her around town while he'd been spray painting things, leaving his "art" everywhere. As she passed by him, trudging along, he approached. "Miss- why do you cover your eyes? Everyone wonders it, but I've finally decided to wonder aloud. Why would you ever want to do so? People talk of the beauty of your eyes. There are many tales about them. I just want to know the truth." Lillian turned her head to the kalon, and listened. She sighed in a raspy voice and patted he ground, herself now sitting on a rock. "Come along dear. I'll tell you the story of my eyes." She gently patted him on the back. "My right eye's color blind- always has been, since i was born. I can't see much that's truly beautiful. There's no point in seeing things. I've always had bad vision anyways. I don't see well, never have- I can barely see your face right now. Here- describe the color of your fur." Emmett stuttered for a moment. "Well I'm purple. Uh it's a color that's..purple?" Lillian nodded, "See, there's no way to describe colors. I'll never experience them. Plus, even if I could, it'd be too blurry for me to tell much. I nearly lost one of my eyes. It has an awful scar across it- my left eye, the one that could see in color. That just makes my vision worse, all I can really see now are grey blobs. It's awful, but I cover my face with my hair. Nobody can see my eyes, my awful scar. They think I just run into things because I'm drunk. In truth, I can't see much. I have to work random jobs, normally a singer to get my money. Nobody want's a half-blind employee anyways." She smiled gently. "I should be leaving now son." Emmett reached out, "Wait- can I see your eyes?" She brushed her hair out of her face and revealed her stunning eyes. She'd always been complimented on their brilliant blue color wehn she was younger. Emmett gasped, "They're so blue.. and your pupils are shaped like stars?" He grinned. You should just keep your hair up all the time! People would realize how beautiful your eyes are! Lillian smiled gently, "Well, yes. My scar is awful though. You forget it. It's deep and ugly. And besides, I cannot see much, there's no point of using my eyes." She turned away solemnly and walked off, never to speak to the kalon again.
-emmett is owned by me; she has heterochromia and bright blue eyes. one has an ugly scare across it and is somewhat blind, the other is colorblind and has bad vision.-
