Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Heres my last design as ga- they are based off of the warrior cat Snowfur and white tigers!

Their Favorite Hobby; Walking along the shoreline at the beach. A bit specific, but it is the only time she truly feels comfortable. As long as she feels alone, everything stays fine for just that moment. Hearing the scuttle of crabs beneath her feet, and the water lapping against her paws, slighting stinging any cuts. If it is night time, she might dare to climb up one of those lifeguard chairs, and enjoy the view of the foreboding world. other people enjoy rainbows and stunning national parks, Monque enjoys dark waters and the unknown. Deserei is a heavy gardener, owning two greenhouses and a HUGE backyard. She grows grapes for her wine brewery as well as apples for cider. Her backyard ranges in color coded areas. Usually, warmer colors are kept in sun spots and darker are in the shade. (HUGE ART RES with backyard)

Their Favorite Hobby;
Swift, gentle hands folded paper into little shapes before setting them aside, the cool breeze nearly tipping the little objects over. They were beautiful swans, with colorful patterns, born from paper and Chancely's handywork. Chancely smiled to himself, relaxing and taking in the moment. It wasn't a strange hobby for such a gentle kalon. Chancely was what you could call a gentle giant. He loved origami dearly, ever since he was a child. He'd never had good grades, and rather than showing his report cards and assignments to his parents, he folded them up. At first, they were just paper airplanes. Then, he learned to make new shapes. His art teacher taught him origami one day, and he loved it. He didn't lie to his parents, no, that's not how Chancely is. He's honest and gentle, and sweet. He'd never lie or disobey anyone. So- instead he folded his papers he was told to give to his parents into shapes. He then gave them the shapes and they never knew about his grades. Ever since- Chancely's loved the art of paper craft. It's his obsessive hobby in truth.
Origami lets him convey his feelings through art. Chancely is awful at any and all art except for origami. His unsteady hands make it impossible for him to hold a paintbrush or pencil straight. When he's alone, the only thing he focuses on is his origami.

Ƭнє ѕєωιηg мαcнιηє roared to life, the needle once again ready to cr
eate it's perfect little stitching. a thin-furred kalon steps onto the pedal,
causing the machine to let out it's shortly-spaced series of clicks, the sound
of one stitching. this kalon of nearly no fur was nitka. perhaps you have see
n him before, idly pushing a minuscule marble through a strangely stitched
scarf. the scarf was his work, his hobby, creating various clothing for fiddlin
g with. college student by morning, retail worker by afternoon, seamster by
night, nitka was not given much time to do his work. yet he gets by, creatin
g baskets upon baskets of these special clothes. "who needs sleep when you
can sew?" he says whenever asked why his eyes look so tired, why he's alway
s awfully irritable, why he struggles with focusing. that's one of the reasons
why he continues to sew this type of garment, for finding focus to use in cla
ss. yet, this is not the reason why he started. nitka truly started to have som
ething to say when asked about his hobby. figuring that because he had a sew
ing machine and some old, unwanted clothes sitting in his closet, he could sta
rt up stitchery. coming to the conclusion that sewing would be considered a ho
bby that might make other kalons speak to him, nitka set his heart to this new
ly found hobby of his. soon enough he found himself missing sleep to stitch, re
sulting in an inability to concentrate. eventually coming to the discovery that
fidgeting with something would help with this impairment, nitka decided to try
sewing things into his works for fidgeting with. this ended up working very well,
so now the sleep-deprived, nearly furless, seam-sewing kalon named nitka had
a hobby to call his own.
