Welcome everyone to the one thousandth main Kalon adopt! What a massive milestone we've all reached together and we're so happy to have you all here, new members and old. We figured that for such an impressive milestone you guys deserved an equally impressive Kalon, and so here they are! A creature of both day and night, this Kalon has two forms that they are forced to switch between depending on the time of day.

Common: Custom Tail, Hair, Fur
Uncommon: Custom Ears
Rare: Horn, glow
Legendary: Wings, Ability to Change Forms/Markings (from day to night),
Tail made of Mist, Mist coming from Paws, Magical Abilities [?]
For this competition we have a few things for you to do. You need to answer the following prompt:
While the prompt answer is the only mandatory part of the competition, you are also allowed up to three writing extras (none of which have a limit) to use however you would like and up to 5 pieces of art!
We also need your help. Staff couldn't decide on a fitting power for this Kalon so we're leaving that up to you, the contestants! Within reasonable limits you are allowed to decide what power(s) this Kalon has! Please keep in mind they may only have up to two magical abilities and can not be anything like controlling the wills of others, any sort of life or death powers, or those that would give them any sort of jurisdiction over another Kalon. Basically, follow the general "No God-modding" rule!
This competition will run for one month and will close on June 10th, 2017 at 12am EST (midnight)!

Tell us about their change from night to day. How do they feel about it? Why does it happen? How does it happen? Are they cursed, were they born this way, or maybe even blessed? It's all up to you!
