Relation: calypso and marcus the best of friends - this calm, soft-spoken female brings marcus back down to earth. the male can be quite hot-headed at times, letting his temper get the better of him. with her gentle tone and soothing words, calypso is able to calm the other viscet down, reigning in his attitude.

calypso's phone had begun to ring - the ringtone, a soft, bell-like noise that was as docile as she, cut through the air. the viscet's hand went out towards the electronic and she picked it up, swiping answer as she recognized marcus's contact (in her phone, he was labled as marcy moo, with a cow emoji next to his name).

"i've done it again," were the first words that came through the phone's speaker as calypso held it to her ear.

"oh, dear," she murmured. she and marcus had been working on his anger for quite a while now. every so often, though, he would let his temper get out of hand, usually resulting in physical contact with another viscet. "who was it this time?"

marcus paused for a long moment. "there was a guy, at the store." he mumbled into the phone, scuffing the ground with a foot and looking sheepish. "and then there was a girl, and he was trying to come on to her, and i just kind of - " he cut off, a frown piercing his expression.

calypso nodded thoughtfully for a moment. "that's alright, marcy," she spoke the nickname fondly. she was one of the very few viscets who marcus allowed to use that nickname. "would you like to get coffee?"

there was another pause on the other end of the line. "you're not upset with me?" marcus asked hesitantly, his voice low and skeptical.

"no, i'm not upset." calypso was smiling softly, as she usually was. "we can get scones, too, if you'd like."
