Why They Like To Run;
to begin with a run is like preparing for war, according to august. they'll have to get up at 7:00 stat with clothes prepard the night before. an energy drink + bottle of water, brush their teeth, then set out. what motivates auggie so much is the vibe it sneds off. think of it as stages. you start, feeling confident, running a good two miles. that is, until you weaken, and your limbs feel like they're on fire and that your feet are going to burn. and then, suddenly, it's like a barrier was removed. august feels like they're walking on wind, like miles were mere centimeters. the world is just... light. freedom surrounded and clouded every thought, like sleeping for august. of course, they have to slow down and go back home, but the ecstasy hasn't worn off. the wings they had for feet wouldn't stop. so with a cloudy mind and a smirk on their face, august goes home.. to his treadmill.

Why They Like To Run; Clover was bullied in Pelzgarten, the only way he could get away from the bad kids was running. He loves it because it reminds him that he's still alive. The feel of wind in his fur gives him a rush and reminds him of the olden days.

A little bit of History: Clover was born in southern Furtopia where he had lots of space to run around. His mother was from Furtopia and his father was a born and raised Canid. Life was great, that is, until they decided to move back to Canidia. Cultural/Language barriers as well as many other problems made Clover feel very alone. He started being antisocial, dyed his hair black, and even got piercings. Now he runs to release stress and anger, and he hopes that he'll meet someone who's also alone so they can help eachother.
Personality: Clover's hard to read, he's very enclosed and introverted. He's a complicated teen, but when you really look into his eyes you can feel the pain he went through. He's somewhat of a dynamic character, which means he'll eventually go through a big change in his life. Clover is quite emotional and he won't hesitate to state his feelings wherever he is. If he could get over his introverted personality he could probably become very confident. He's friendly and likes to exercise but doesn't mind a bit of video games here and there.
Behaviour: He stays quiet in class, he's not very violent but he does have a bit of anger issues. He has pretty good grades and he excels in chemistry, but no one really notices that except his teachers.

Why They Like To Run; Rodger enjoys running because there are no rules to bind him. He can continue to run as long, as hard, as fast, in any direction he wants without anyone telling him what he can and can't do. It's almost freeing in a way for him.

Why They Like To Run; To get away from it all, to focus his mind on just one singular thing. Terry often frequently stresses himself out, and not even green tea will soothe his fretful mind. Paws slamming on the hard concentrate, sides heaving, and the breeze howling at his face. What a blissful thing to do! Particularly in the cool summer evenings, when the sun is dipping below the horizon.
Extras; Sides heaving and lungs feeling as though they were on fire, Terry slowed to a stop. ''Jeremy cricket...'' he grumbled. ''I'm so unfit...'' he panted. Stretching himself, Terry started to walk, his breath misting in the frosty air. ''I need a holiday...good grief.'' he mumbled, nodding slowly. He was tired of the drab grey scenery, he needed to go somewhere SUNNY!

Why They Like To Run; max is in an all boys track team, and is constantly bullied because he's trans and that he shouldn't be in the boys track team. so to make up for it, max trains really hard so that he can beat them all and prove them wrong. he tries really hard to have a strict training schedule, but sort of fails because he's always busy going on cute little dates with his boyfriend toby.

Trans story; when max was in 7th grade, he decided to come out to his family and friends as trans. his family accepted him, but the outcome wasn't all positive, as max was frequently bullied and picked on from the "popular" kids, the only person who would help max were his closest friends; toby, claire, and amy. in grade 10, toby asked max out, and of course, they were the only gay couple in their school, which resulted in more bullying from the other kids. in grade 11, toby and max decided to change schools together, to a more gender and sexuality accepting school. there they met evan and michael, two other gay kids who ended up being max's best friends. and now, max and toby were happy being accepted for who they were
