Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

[ why i want them // ]
a few days after i had actually joined chicken smoothie, i quickly found my interest in these, and despite multiple opportunities in competitions, i have yet to win a kalon. there's simply a great thing about them that lures me, and this one not only caught my attention, but made me thinking- how does it feel to own one? i mean, one as adorable as this one. and i do believe want is an understatement- i wish this were allowed to have extras! pale and natural patterns are my weaknesses. with the minty green to top it off, i just can't even compare this with others. it sends off an aesthetic 'vibe' to me. standard kalons are my favorite as well. complex and confusing ones aren't as pleasing to me. -o-
to have a kal such as this one would be a dream for me, and that's not a lie! it reminds me of spring, and since it's literally spring in february for me, it strikes me with a calming vibe. green and pastel colors absolutely kill me! and on a kalon? this, beyond all rares, is bound to be one of the cutest i've seen. to have this as a beginning of being in the kalon community is a blessing, in my own opinion.
now, speaking of if i had this cutie, i do have a friend that owns a kalon- one of similar colors, but not much of the design. it would be absolutely to celebrate being new to kals with them! this one, as a non-owner contest, would seem to be easy, but i've had my times where non-owner competitions were beyond tricky to win. and not only that, but main adopts in general! i have tried during the kalontines event for the majority of your designs, but sadly failed. all these other forms are incredible, very detailed and i don't stand a chance if i ramble on again! i actually think that one of your kalon adopts were the first ones i saw and took actual notice to.. huh, it was this one i saw and absolutely loved, but knew i'd be looked down onto as a beginner that had no standards to join! for now, i think this one is bound to be my favorite recent adopts out of them all.

Why you want them -- Honestly, this design is really pretty? Normally I prefer designs a bit more complex, but this kiddo caught my eye. The colors are right up my alleyway (I really like designs with browns and creams and greens aaa), and the patterns seem like they'd be on my skill level to replicate. I'd love to be able to develop him as I see fit through drabbles and doodles, especially involving relationships with other kalons. I can't promise I'd be incredibly active in the community, but I would like a chance to join in every now and then and maybe make some more friends. I'd try my best to do this design justice and I really want to work on making deeper characters that seem more realistic and relatable on certain levels. I haven't really involved myself in roleplaying on this site before, but I have been roleplaying on another site for about 3 1/2 years now, and I feel it would be interesting to try it out on here with Julien as well. I haven't really tried out for many kalons before now due to nerves, but I think now is as good a time as any to start. Anyways, this babe really is quite nice, and I'd like to offer an early congrats to whoever wins them!

I love adoptables, and honestly, this is the best species I have come across. The community is friendly, the art is great, and the stories are very creative! I am honoured to even have a chance at winning such a beautiful kalon.

I absolutely LOVE this kalon's sweet yet simple design! You can really tell that he/she has an amazing personality! I enjoy role-playing and drawing quite a lot, so I can promise you there will be quite a lot of art and stories about him :3 This would be the best first kalon ever!!!
