Name meaning: By definition Aidan's name means fire. He's always found this funny though because of the
stories that his mother would tell him. The story would go that around the time he was born, it was one of the
coldest days of winter with a strong snow storm blowing outside the den. Since it was so cold out they would do
their best to keep warm. His mother would occasionally feel as though she was freezing but Aidan would be just
fine. It was then where he got the nickname “Fireball” since he was so warm during that time.

Other: “I’m having a hard time stopping so get out of the way please!” cried a voice that was heard multiple
times within the span of two minutes.

A young female Viscet turned her head to see who was the one causing the commotion. Unfortunately for her she
was unaware that she was on a collision course with this Viscet and wouldn’t have enough time to get out of the
way.

“Look out!” cried the Viscet, but it was too late as the two had collided and were now lying in the snow. “Well
guess a piece of wood isn’t the best thing to use as a form of travel when going downhill,” said the Viscet.

“Dang it Aidan,” said the female Viscet who was laying on her back in the snow. “How many times have you been
told not to pull of these kinds of stunts?”

“Sorry Tara. I did try warning you,” he said walking over to the purple furred Viscet offering to help her up. She
declined and simply stayed on the cold ground. “Well I better hurry, I’ve got to get this thing delivered today...”

He then walked over to where his makeshift sled was which was a thin piece of tree bark and picked up a small
packet that was lying down next to it. He picked it up carefully and brushed off the snow that was covering it.
His ears then shot up which caused his hood fall off and began patting his torso looking for something.

“Dang it where’d the letter go?!” he exclaimed with some worry in his voice.

At this point, Tara had finally decided to get off and brushed off some of the snow from her own fur and noticed
a small envelope on the ground.

“Is this it?” she asked picking it up and showing it to him.

“Oh. Yeah it is! Thanks Tara I really owe you one!” he said taking the envelope from her paws and walked away
before she could respond. He hopped back onto his makeshift sled and continued his trip down the hill.

"Aidan wait where are you going?" Tara called out, but he was already on his way. So she decided to take care of
things herself and made her way down the hill on her own.

“I’m sure that if I don’t run into anybody again I can make it before noon,” Aidan thought to himself. As he got
closer to the bottom of the hill his sled came to a slow stop. He then continued his trip on foot partially running
and stumbling through the snow.

After a while he spotted a cave and quickened his pace, unaware to the Viscet that was hot on his trail. When he
entered the cave he was met with another female who was much older than him and was sleeping, his mother.
Not wanting to bother her he left the packet and envelope next to where she was sleeping and walked back out.

Once he had left he was met with a snowball directly to his face.

“That’s for not answering my question!” Tara had said with a slight laugh and threw another one. “That one's for
knocking me down.”

Aidan simply smiled to himself and threw a snowball back at her. “That’s for getting in the way of my delivery!”

“What was so special about it anyways?” she asked wiping off snow from her face.

“It was something for my mom to show her that I was doing fine after all this time, and that I made a friend,”
he said happily.

Aidan with his mother during the winter time. As they walked out of the den his
mother had told him to look up. When he did he has seen something that he could
never possibly forget. The sky itself seemed to be lit up with different colours that
were dancing around. He ran ahead of her, stumbling in the snow, in an attempt to
see if he could follow the lights. He had reached a point where as he looked around
he could see the lights go on for miles. He then looked over at his mother who had
caught up and was smiling.

“They’re beautiful aren’t they my little Fireball…” she had said her voice trailing
off which had simply earned a small excited squeak from Aidan in return.



Almost all of Aidan’s experiences with snow haven’t been
very graceful and if anything, they’ve almost all resulted
in him falling or tripping over something. The reason for
that is pretty simple and self-explanatory. It’s cause he
can’t see anything if it’s going to be buried underneath
three feet of snow. So whenever he goes out for a walk
he tries to be as careful as he possibly can, making sure
that he watches where he’s putting his foot. Even if he is
careful he still manages to trip over something. It’s actually
worse when he trips over something once and thinks he’s
in the clear only to trip over another object or in more
common cases the same thing.

Even though he does manage to act like a klutz out in the
snow, like the red panda, he still keeps going and enjoys it.
