John Lyons is my favorite trainer. He does natural horsemanship and he helps horse owners understand their horses better and tell then how to deal with problems and what to reward your horse when it does something good and when to recognize a horses behavior. He has gotten many awards and even writes his own books
Least favorite:
I'm gonna have to go with Clinton Anderson, i have watched many videos of his training and my moms sister's friend sent her horse to him and her horse came back with an attitude and he was worst then when she brought her gelding to him. Clinton Anderson i don't like personally. That's just my opinion.

Most Favorite: Eh, to tell you the truth I don't really know trainers. My answer is based on limited information. I guess my favorite would be Judy Richter. I have a how-to-ride book by her and I like her style. In general, though, I prefer natural methods over the more aggressive ones. Learning how horses communicate and then implementing that while at all times trying to understand the horse is, I think, the best way to train a horse. Riding is all about trust, and these methods promote that.
(Sorry if this comes across as a piece in a debate. :p I'm trying to make up for my lack of knowledge about trainers with my thoughts.)

Least favorite: I have no idea, except that I know it would be anyone who abuses or "breaks" a horse. I hope this doesn't count against me in winning this horse. :p

Most Favorite: My trainer, if I'm being honest. She's a under twenty five grand prix dressage rider, and she really honestly helps me. Without her I wouldn't be riding, and where I am now.
Least favorite: Because I do english, I'm gonna choose two, so I don't seem biased for picking a western trainer. My first least favorite is Clinton Anderson, the way he "breaks" horses, its truly rude and can damage a good horse. Gal however (if you don't know him, he is Totilas's rider and "trainer") well the poor horse was trained in rollkur! It is a very, very bad image too dressage.

Most Favorite: I'm not hugely into one specific training method or one specific trainer at all,
but Gawani Pony Boy is someone who I think really has a healthy and helpful
way of communication with the horses he trains. People often compare him
to Monty Roberts but his methods take a slightly more subtle, even less aggressive
path. He has a philosophy of patience and calm use of body language that I've found
to be really good for both me and the horses I've worked with.Least favorite:First of all, I have a problem with any trainer using harmful methods and not respecting
the horse. I don't know any name here though because I haven't done any research on such
"really" horrible trainers. If you want me to choose however, I fear it's go to be Pat Perelli
for multiple reasons. For once there's always a streak of dominant overpowering in his training
that I think can only turn out to dysfunctional. What bothers me more however, is that it seems
to me as though he cares more about making money with his concept that actually helping riders
and horses. It reminds me a bit of those spiritual cults where you have to spend lots of money in
order to move up a caste and participate in new workshops..
