afternoon all and I hope your christmas eve is a good one. this event trait is called "double coat" and as implied it's a thicker, floofier winter coat! I personally love this trait, it's actually my favorite of this event's but floofy.

for this competition I'm wanting you to design me some winter wear/items they have or really love.

-you have up to 200 words for each accessory to explain why that one or what sentimental or otherwise value it holds. this is optional, but may boost your chances.

why those?

Mint wears the scarf as a way to keep his neck warm, of course that's how any scarf is used for. He got his scarf from his mother, when he was just little because it often got cold. The scarf at the time was too big for him, due to him being to small. But now it's just right for him, and he wears it during winter, when it's freezing outside where he lives. It keeps him from catching a cold, and that's why he wears it too.


Mint wears the parka due to it having the fluff to keep him warm, and it's pretty cozy and easy to lounge in. He bought it for himself ahead of time before winter, so now he can use it. He always depends on it to keep him warm, and it does which is why he wears it with his scarf, and it's green which makes a good match too.

Welcome to Mint's Cafe!
"Welcome, Come in! I'm Mint, owner of this bakery."
You come in, and sit on one of the chairs.
"What would you like today?"
You look on the menu, just to see if there's anything
new, but then you settle for what you usually get.
"Alright! I'll be back!"
Mint leaves, but soon returns with your meal.
"Please enjoy, and let me know if you
need anything!" He smiles, and then walks
off.
You finish your meal, and wait for Mint to return.
"Here you go!" He says as he
puts the bill by you. It reads, $13.40. You pay, smile and
wave before leaving the Cafe, satisfied on your meal.

Mint has owned his Cafe for many years now, and it has
been successful with many customers, always coming back
when they want to chat and eat some of his famous
recipes given to him by his father, who loved to cook. He
used the recipes and added his own touches, to make the
food his own as-well. He always says, "If you don't enjoy
the food, I'll make it better until I improve!" He's always
looking to improve to impress the people who come in his
door, so they don't come out dis-satisfied. He's had many
positive reviews, but always views the hate so he can take
the critique and use it to better his food so more people
will come and enjoy his food. The food industry is a hard
place to be in, with much better chefs than he is, but he
works and works to make people happy, and to have at-
least modern food that people would enjoy themselves,
and go to his cafe rather than an expensive restaurant.

Mint puts up the sign for the night, it reads, "Closed,
come back later!" He smiles before closing up shop.

reason ivy loves to be in the snow, and so she chose to reside near the mountains, despite her colors and how easily she stands out. in any normal situation, her fluffy coat would surely be enough to keep her warm and toasty, but not quite here. the scarf and beanie help to warm her up while also blending in with her coat perfectly, tingling her fashion sense. she wouldn't go anywhere without her accessories. both the scarf and beanie were both knitted to perfect by ivy herself, who loves to craft fashionable items.

The scarf is because he makes clothing accessories, and this was actually the work of his father, who had been practicing secretly to make one for Heimim's birthday. It was a special birthday because Heimim was moving out a week later to hopefully start up his business!
The metal swirly thing on his tail is a decoration that he traded for, it's a one of a kind that he treasures because it is proof that his work is just as worthy as other works are.
