Zach- originally named Zachary but they made it shorter. They used to hate the name Zachary, but they kinda enjoy it now. They don't exactly know why their parents named them that either. They just said they really liked how Zany they looked at birth- Zach and Zany both start with a Z and their parents thought it was cute so they named them Zachary.
Male, though prefers they/them more.
In school nobody really hung out with them, or was besties with them, so he had to be with themselves all the time- the longer they did, the more they grew to like themselves more than others. They mostly like alone time, and really isn't fond of people anymore because of this. It took a hard toll on them, and they refuse to make friends with anyone now. Angry mostly at everyone in the world, and hates everyone else but his family+them.
Zach also never used to like themselves, but they've grown to after years and years, and having more confidence in themself as well. Today, they are very selfish, though confident, and bold. Zach is honestly a sweetie, and really cute. A thing that boosted their confidence is their clothing & hair. They started by styling their signature fringe at age 12, then adding new clothing outfits, "Bold and brash." as they would say. Zach tried to look confident in hopes of friends at first, but then just became so depressed, and couldn't keep this up, so they just started being confident with themselves, and just kept to themselves more.
Growing up Zach mainly lived in a tiny neighborhood and for the first 10 years of their life tried their hardest to make friends, but after never succeeding because other furtopians rejected them because of their messed up teeth, and how tacky they were, so they stopped trying. They were super bubbly and fun to be around as a kid. They were really cute, and generally were cool. It feels like now Zach still has part of his old self still in him, it'll just take a lot of effort to find/re-develop that part of them.
As for working, or career, they love the fashion industry as well as architecture. they loveess cool buildings, one day they'd love to build something that would be great. Maybe their own building one day? Right now they're is studying architecture in college, and works at a burger place for money. They also work at a car fixing place near their college. Zach lives right near both of their works, and their college (Though very expensive, they hate walking.) They stays away from the busy parts of the city, and avoid others. They don't exactly enjoy their job, and only do it for the money, not exactly the customers.
To go in-depth about their personality, they're really caring about people they loves/befriends, basically their close family, not really anyone else. They try their best, and aside from being selfish, they are pretty friendly. They're also a little desperate and clingy to the people they really love or adore, it's like they can't get their mind off of them.
Zach actually doesn't want to be famous, and just wants to live life happily. It's not their goal to be famous, but more just on the successful side. They really see fame as making you really mean, and not a great person- and they hateee that the most. They especially don't like that the famous buy tons of things they don't need. It makes no sense to them why.

Food wise; they like to stay healthy, but in reality they love love love junk food. They enjoy cheetos (Especially the spicy ones :>D), oreos, and zebra cakes to name a few. they hate twinkies, moon pies, anything hostess, and cosmic brownies. Actual food they like includes spagetti, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and tacos.
Zach loveess drawing. It's one of their main hobbies. It kinda goes in with their love for architecture, they adore symmetrical drawings, and asymmetrical. Variety, they absolutely love all kinds of drawing; Calligraphy, pencil drawings, doodles, water colors, all of it. They are interested in exploring- trying new things with their art, they have many different styles of drawing, not just one.
While they aren't great at most of them, they really enjoy at least doing it, and they keep practicing to get better at it.
Another one of their hobbies that goes along with art, is writing. They've enjoyed it since high school mainly, because they didn't really write much in middle school or lower. They thought it was a waste of time, and just a normal hobby, but once they wrote essays for school they've realized they really like writing. It calms them down, making them think of the details, and describing things. They like it as it's an escape for them, nothing matters at that moment other than just writing. It's a whole world of beauty, ugly, anything and everything. So many different styles, works, it's beautiful. They like reading and writing it, though for the last month it's mostly been back and fourth of each.
Zach especially has been liking furniture. It sounds stupid, but they've been decorating their apartment this past month due to how plain it looked, so they added their own touches to it. Recently they found a cheap couch that looked decent, no stains, and smelled okay. Then they picked up a few bean bag chairs they had to clean up a lot due to how bad they smelled, and a few stains on them. They've added a few pieces of their own art, and some prints they bought online. A few framed family pictures and the apartment was all nice.

art by UsagesAnother thing Zach had an issue with was school. They hated mostly everything about it like the homework, tests, finals, and teachers. No teacher ever remembered their name. They just knew them as the quiet one, that didn't really speak, though did do their work and for the most part was good. They kinda just went through school, not really anything interesting happened, but others knew them as the artist. The one with amazing art skills that probably in life would do art for a living. Which actually, in their teen years most the furtopians in the school actually liked them, their art, and their new fashion style.
In school the only thing that they really liked was listening to all the drama. They didn't start, or actually was in the drama, they just liked watching it from a distance. They just were a pretty nosy teenager, and was interested in other furtopian's lives, as well as his own. They did their best to not get too nosy though, as they didn't like to get involved at all. Zach still doesn't know why he likes drama, it just made school kinda interesting, and not as dull.
Zach hates fighting. They are disgusted by blood, and just cringe at fighting. They don't even know why boxing, and fighting are considered sports, it's really weird honestly as they'd put it. Zach is grossed out by all the aftermath, and seeing it going on. They try to keep everyone at peace, and honestly are more of a flight furtopian more than fight.
Outside of school, their family was average. They were an only pup. To him it was kinda nice, though sometimes quiet having it just be them and their parents. They didn't really care all that much though, since their parents were quite lovely, and were upbeat and fun to be around. The family wasn't rich nor poor, right in the middle- average. They were happy with what they had, and didn't really make a fuss about it all that much. They were thankful that they had a nice, safe home.
How did they even get the scarf you ask? Christmas a few years ago, their Grandma normally wasn't a knitter, though she had just started. She decided to make her first scarf orange. She realized how cute it would look on cute little Zach, and HAD to give it to them for Christmas. They were kinda bummed about it the first hour they had it, then it hit him. It was really cute, their poor grandma spent hours probably trying to learn how to knit a scarf, it matched his fur, and it was very cozy. They felt bad for hating it at first, instead of looking how nice it was of her to make it for them.
The leg warmers were actually kinda accidental. Their school had a lost and found, and at the end of the year if no one were to claim their clothes, then they would give them away. They didn't like the idea of used clothing being given away, but they at least looked around for the fun of it. Zach found a pair of neon orange leg warmers, finding them a tad too loose, though with a simple fix of needle sewing could do the job. They stitched up the top and bottom of each one, so that they'd be tighter, and would stay on at least.
Zach's problems include that they're sometimes stubborn, mostly going with what they think is right instead of what other furtopian's think. They don't care about other's feelings sometimes, and forgets that he is a regular futopian, They're not any more special than anyone else. They occasionally even put themselves down when he makes someone upset/mad, and blames themselves. They can be moody sometimes, and emotions get the best of them, and they don't know when to stop.
A big problem they also face is that they get nervous when under pressure, they don't know what to do when someone bad happens, and just tries to logically figure out a response or a solution, and normally fails miserably. Zach gets really aggravated when they can fix something. Though if it's someone else's problem they don't really handle it, unless it has to do with family, or Zach's future.
During the holidays they can be quite the festive furtopian. It's like a light switched in them to be friendly, and giving. Normally started at the end of November, or usually the first time it snows, they simply switch to a funny, festive, fun, and just really good to be around. They enjoy the time when family gathers, people they love and just enjoy each other's company by the fireside, ignoring all their problems for the day. Christmas makes them feel relaxed, nostalgic, and feel warm and cozy inside. They love coming home to their parents, putting up the Christmas tree every year, adding one of their own new ornaments to it every year. Zach is in love how gorgeous the lights/decorations are too, and how bright they all are. Every home in the neighborhood looking very welcoming, and fancy, each with their own set-up making them unique. They love Christmas.
Zach actually doesn't like all the normal holidays; they REALLY dislike the made up holidays people pretend are real, they could go on for hours on how they hate them. Have a donut day, cookie day, hat day, national toy day. Even actual holidays they don't like, with the exception of Christmas. Christmas feels like something that can end the year nicely, and loves the Christmas spirit.
They especially despise Valentine's day due to all the couples on dates, and how everyone has a girl/boyfriend, they're so done with it. It really makes them feel bad, and want to cry. Normally on Valentine's day, they just stay in their apartment, cancel off work, grab a tub of ice cream, and just chill out.
