what's this.....?
you stumble upon this Sheer one cold night in the middle of a graveyard. you had heard legends of a Sheer frozen in stone, but had always assumed the rumors were false.... with your sharp eyes, you manage to spot a very old, worn out plaque at the base of this statue, covered in vines, offerings, debris, chunks of stone... you brush it off carefully to see if it says anything interesting about the statue. Only a handful of words are actually legible:
here lays -----, since ----- stone ----- trapped. ----- bound by ----- magic -----. only once during ----- month -----, may this ----- released from ------ . ----- help ----- needs ----- . -----, once released, this sheer ----- . If ----- , the ----- enchantment ----- as such ---- ;
you cannot understand what the enchantment is saying, but at least it is written using the alphabet which you are familiar with. with some time, you could be able to slowly pronounce the words out... you assume it is in order to free this Sheer. Question is, do you ...?

ROUND TWO:
there were some people who wanted to keep this Sheer trapped, but even more people succeeded in speaking the enchantment, and as they say, majority rules....
you stare in shock as the enchantment works it's magic - after the final word is pronounced, a lovely pink light surrounds the statue, and for a moment you are in awe at the beauty. However, it soon twists into an unbearable blood-red color, blindingly bright but you can't tear your eyes away. As the Sheer emerges, writhing and twisting to escape it's stone prison, you quickly realize your mistake .....

"my, my..." it's voice dripping with condescension, you can hear it cackle and it sounds like many voices intermingled into one. "how foolish of you to free me... but I must thank you..." it grins as it stretches it's enormous wings - it must be showing off, you think to yourself. You cannot bring yourself to look into it's eyes, but at the same time, you are drawn to them. "i've been dormant for far too long. not to worry though, dear. my plan will work out just as well now as it would have a thousand years ago. my army will be bigger than ever..." it explains, turns to face the rest of the graveyard, and it's eyes start emitting a smoky red substance. It's vagueness frustrates you...
if you spoke the enchantment: you are now the "cursed".
the Nightsheer has bound you to it with a powerful curse and you cannot escape ! you suspect it is keeping you for it's 'army', whatever that entails. you need to gain more information... pick one of the forms below if you previously chose "speak the enchantment".

ROUND 3
"My plan..? The monster murmurs, a wicked smile still etched on their face. "I'll show you, my child." you stare blankly as newly livened, corrupted corpses rise from the ground and begin to approach their new leader, their eyes milky white and faces expressionless.
"Zombies..??" you exclaim, frightened. But then you notice other Sheer, Sheer from the nearby town, also marching on into the graveyard... some of them you recognize, but they are different, darker...
"No. Not quite." The nightsheer corrects, interrupting your train of thought. "this.. will be my army. finally... somesheer whom will follow my every order - finally, night shall rule the world." you try to take this all in, but you don't quite know what to focus on, your head feels so light yet your body is pinned to the earth so strongly by the monster's curse. "you, I need for the newly turned nightsheer... I need them to feed off your fear. I can feel it now, you are terrified, perfect, a fear almost powerful enough to feed a whole army.." they explain, although they are not fully focused on you, but on their newly formed army.

the defense have found an old textbook and found this page, giving them some more information on this mysterious beast;

both defense and cursed can post these forms: (you may only move on to the next round if your offering appeals to the nightsheer. If they decide you are not worthy, they will let the army of nightsheer feed on your fear/the army will overpower you and you will be eliminated ! each type of offering is weighted equally so no worries if you cannot offer one type of thins; there are alternatives ! you can post as many types of offerings as long as you follow the limits set on each one. stardust offerings can only be made if you have sufficient funds in the bank.)

"hmm, you are quite the intelligent one." The beast notes as they accept the offerings that appeal to him most (~neon_and_lylia~;kamelgirl; doxophobia.; steampunkalec; Boxie; Queen Chrysalis; and Noxyum are allowed to proceed to the next round, IF they are on the cursed side ( spoke the enchantment in the first round)). "Tell you what, if you can prove your loyalty and intelligence to me, I will spare you and this town." they turn away from their army to face you, curiosity in their pupil-less eyes. "If you can inform me on the events that I missed while imprisoned, that is... I would be willing to allow you to rule alongside me, and I will not harm innocent Sheer, as I have realized this world has changed while I was asleep. Perhaps it can be saved."
You ponder the monster's request, and agree fully; whatever you can do to stop this beast from further forming it's army, you'll do it. "What do you want to know?" you inquire quietly.
"Well." the sheer begins, "I need to know.."
