kalon's typical day;;
Each morning Apollo is roused from bed by a servant's polite entreaties for him to wake up. It's usually close to eleven by this point, noon if Apollo has recently fired someone and the new hire is still skittish and hesitant to risk his sleepy wrath. As the second son of the king he is fed in the Main Dining Hall with the rest of his family, although considering the time Apollo finally climbs out of bed he's usually eating breakfast while his father and cousins dine on lunch. The chef knows to make an exception for him, and he's liable to loudly chew bacon while everyone else eats cucumber sandwiches instead. Conversation is polite and frankly boring.

Apollo's afternoon schedule differs. Thankfully he doesn't have much responsibility of his own, as his elder brother bears the brunt of the inheritance and Apollo is expected singularly to not be an embarrassment to the family. So sometimes he hunts, or sometimes he goes into town to shop, or sometimes he meanders through the castle scaring the staff that lingers in the back staircases for a break. Mostly he does what he's best at and disappears into the nearby stretch of woods for days at a time, occasionally with a companion but mostly on his own. Each time he returns home he's voracious for a celebration of some sort and is liable to invent a holiday to excuse his behavior and then all of the nearby royals come, the families' attendance expected. Apollo's father dotes on his youngest child with a blind eye. It is frequently whispered behind closed doors that he's the favored heir.

He goes to bed late. Most nights he just falls into bed when he's too tired to stand up anymore, and he doesn't have much of an opportunity to glance at the clock on his way down. He's lucky if he makes time before to eat something, but his best servants have learned to take advantage of this and most evenings leave food at the foot of his bed to earn his affection. Sometimes pastries, sometimes meat; a bite of food that curbs his appetite and lets him sleep unperturbed. He keeps these servants the longest, and they are all aware of it, so the staff does their best to satisfy him with food thieved after-hours from the kitchen.

At night, Apollo dreams. He dreams of strange, strange things, of the weight of a crown at his temple, of the sensation of a cape lounging from his shoulders. He dreams of things that while awake he would never think of, of a dispassionate jealously for his absent brother, of the greatness he is destined for while Apollo is meant to be... what? Second in line? If asked Apollo would be loathe to admit he wants the crown but while he sleeps he dreams of what being a king might be like. In the morning, when the servants wake him, he opens his eyes with a devious smile.

They've got an irregular sleep schedule, actually. Being an avid gamer, they work and play mostly at night, and sleep late, usually at three to four in the morning. Then they go to sleep. Amir usually wakes up at noon and eats cereal, and goes out to buy a couple of things. He takes trips to the bakery, to the coffeeshop, and then to the cinema to watch a movie on Fridays.

Around five in the afternoon, he starts his gaming ritual. Amir takes his junk food, preferably his huge bag of trail mix, bag of potato chips, and caprisuns, and starts gaming. He dozes off a couple of times, goes to YouTube and watches a bunch of videos, then goes back to gaming.

At nine, he takes a break and watches a couple of movies or episodes on Netflix. Amir usually invites a friend or two over to watch them with him. Then...back to, you know, gaming. Let's just say he never sleeps, he just goes back and forth from gaming, to YouTube, to Netflix, and back again, until he's too tired to go any longer and cleans up, and then goes to sleep.

He wakes up around noon gose and gets some food. After he is done eating he gose to a nearby steam that has a small waterfall, he takes a drink and then gose farther down the stream to bath and cool off ( depending on the day ) then he gose back to his little home and takes a nap after he wakes he gose to the stream for a drink then he meets up with some of his buddies and play around after a couple of hours he gose back home and gose back to bed

Daily Schedule

7:00 AM- wake up, take a shower, get dressed, brush your teeth, not necessarily in that order. Do I really have to remind you? No one will come to your shop if you have gross teeth.

8:30 AM- arrive at work. Hurry! You have half an hour to set up! Refill the water in the coffe machine. Wipe the counters real quick. Restock stuff!

9:00 AM- And we're open!

9:02 AM- The kid with the black baseball cap is here! He comes pretty much right after we open and buys a large hot chocolate. I'm not sure what his problem is. He stays for like an hour, he's like fourteen, he should be in school right now.

10:00 AM- Baseball cap kid is gone now. Did I mention he's got a really dumb name? His name is Blaze. I don't know if that's his real name but it's dumb all the same.

10:55 AM- Guess who decided to show up? It's Jaida the goth girl! She's actually pretty ok. I just wish she wouldn't smoke right outside my shop? She orders a medium caramel macchiato which she never actually drinks all of.

12:00 PM- It's the start of lunch break and everyone wants coffee! Crud! Hurry, Connie! There's Richard, he's some sort of lawyer or something, he takes his coffee black, no sugar which is gross. There's also Lara, she's like an advertising agency graphic design person? She's very shy and actually wants extra sugar in her coffee even though she's too shy to ask for it. There's also Phil... I think he's homeless.

1:00 PM- Phewf, lunch is finally over! Heat yourself up a celebratory muffin and make a cup of coffee.

2:00 PM- Here comes our boy, Mike! Ugh, Mike. He never actually buys anything he just hangs around and flirts with me. If I was rich I'd hire bouncers to get rid of people like him.

2:30 PM- Karen. Just Karen. Wow. She orders something along the lines of: almond latte. Two shots vanilla. Extract one shot. Foam on top, precisely 6.4 centimeters. Caramel on top, a spiral not hatched, etc. God, I hate her.

3:00 PM- Time to close right before evening rush! I love making my own hours! Clean out the coffee machine, do the dishes, wipe the counters.

3:30 PM- Done cleaning! Now I can finally go home!

3:45 PM- Hone again, home again, ziggity-zag! Time to feed the cat and watch Supernatural! This is an integral part of my day, it would be devastating it I forgot to!

5:00 PM- Dinner time!

5:30 PM- Wash your plate, Connie!

5:40 PM- Time to watch even more tv! You deserve it!

7:30 PM- Go to bed early, but don't forget to brush your teeth so people will want to go to your coffee shop.

4:30-4:40 a.m

Rise and shine! It's time to wake up and smell the dung beetles! Welcome to the life of an adventurer, now leave your boring life at the doorstep and come with me!

4:40-5:30 a.m

There's nothing like a bath in a piranha infested river to get you moving in the morning. Now it's time for some good ol' fashioned boar on a stick to keep you energized for your big adventure!

5:30-5:50 a.m

You always have to keep yourself in the best of shape, so a short run around camp will have to do. Living in a tropical forest does have its downsides, but so what if you get bit? That's the fun of it!

5:50-9:20 a.m

Now you're ready for some adventure! Patrol around the campsite for a while, make sure the traps you've set haven't been sabatoged by the local tribes before going on your own into the vast wilderness. Always be sure to keep your trusty machete on hand and a map to guide your way.

9:20-3:50 p.m

Get lost, I mean, whats an adventure without a few obstacles in your path? Intentially go the wrong way, somewhere you've never explored, and take some notes. Make sure to watch out for the thousands of poisonous/venomous creatures and deadly insects that plague the surrounding land. Trust me, if you know what you're doing, you'll be just fine. And who cares if you just cut your paw again? A little blood never hurt anyone.

3:50-3:51 p.m

Realize that you've just touched a highly poisonous dart frog with an open wound, succumb to panic.

3:51-6:45 p.m

Retreat from your adventure and visit the local village in search of help. The people thankfully treat you, but not without letting you suffer a bit first. Well, you can't really blame them. You've been stealing from their traps for the past month.

6:45-9:30 p.m

Time to head back to camp, but not without taking a few slabs of boar meat first. The tribe wouldnt miss anything, would they?

9:30-10:00 p.m

Rest finally catches up with you, about time really. Tommorow we'll start from the top, and do everything all over again. Hopefully except for, well, the incident. But again, that's what adventures are all about. So what if you almost die, that's the fun of it!

Around this time, Spencer is studying his victim. Learning everything he can about them. Watching their
movements. Watching how they do things. Stalking. He isn't tired. He's never tired. He does all the
researching he can do before he takes his next step.


xxxx2:00 am | 0200 hours
Spencer is moving closer. Up until the hour before led him to knowing everything about his victim. His eyes
catch the glittering jewelry on the body. He can feel himself shaking in excitement. He continues to learn
the weak spots, slowly circling around the perimeter with hungry eyes.


xxxx4:00 am | 0400 hours
He waits. It would be better to attack in the later morning. The victim needs to know who stole from them
with such genius planning. Spencer was hungry for fame. For money. He pushes it down.


xxxx6:00 am | 0600 hours
Spencer has been keeping watch on his victim since he settled down. He's intent, gluing his eye to the sleeping
form. He can feel the air shift as the sun starts to peek over the horizon. The sky is still dark, Spencer's eyes
hungrily gleaming in the dark. He's worked the ground beneath his paws to a mass of dirt.

Movement makes Spencer jerk up. The other Kalon is finally waking. Their body slowly stands, arching as
they stretched. A yawn rippled the air slightly before they padded off slowly. Spencer grins, and darts
after on sly, silent steps. He keeps his eyes on them, never taking them off the expensive jewelry.


xxxx10:00 am | 1000 hours
Spencer strikes. Greed builds in his stomach as he approaches the female, who in his mind- wasn't even
gorgeous. Oh but just wait, Spencer is sly and charismatic. He knows how to impress the ladies. He
walks up beside her as she drinks at a river, smooth words leaving his mouth.


xxxx12:00 pm | 1200 hours
They've been talking for awhile now. He's starting to get bored. She's taking forever to pry into, even
though she took the bait so easily. Spencer smiles, and keeps flattering her. She finally asks for him
to hold onto her jewelry while she relaxes in the river. He agrees, gingerly taking it from her when
she hands it over.

He did it. Spencer stole the jewelry when she wasn't look. He bolts as fast as he can, leaving her
in the river. He's going to be rich. His greed is satisfied now, until tomorrow.


xxxx4:00 pm | 1600 hours
Spencer trades in the jewelry. He pockets the currency, heading home to count how much he's gotten.
It's heavy, so it's clearly a lot more than he expected.


xxxx6:00 pm | 1800 hours
Spencer dozes off with his wad of money. He'll wake up later in the night to find his next victim.
For now, he's content and his greedy paws are filled with what he needs.
