Her tail shine is spherical and functions something like a crystal ball! When it catches the light at a certain angle it will show very faint images on its surface.
Her right eye is blind, and her tongue is cut. Both are acquired (non-genetic) traits and cannot be passed on.
Her front two paws are polydactyl, meaning she has an extra thumb on each.
Kahina grew up in a very small community, living in a small house with many of her female relatives. The family knew a lot about pressure points on the body, herbal medications, and how to care for the sick, which helped out the community greatly as they lived far from any major cities.
Growing up, people were constantly coming and going from their house, and so over time Kahina learned not to be bothered by the presence of other people... Wherever she is. Outside of her village she struggles with the concepts of personal boundaries and space, although she remains somewhat reclusive by nature.
Kally functions very well in situations that have a clear solution/answer to the problem, but she has problems accepting other peoples' opinions, and is rarely able to let others "down easy." In this way, she comes off as rude, but she only tends to act this way because she hates wasting time exploring the "wrong path." In emotional conflicts she is a lot more gentile and her intention to help people is more clear.
