Mark is sad because he had wondered off away from home and can't find his way back, and sadly no one has tried to look for him. So he is all alone now and scared.

Why are they sad?
this poor dear is always being mistaken as a sad
soul, when in reality, the Plushie Pup is quite happy
and soft in nature. The problem is, he has constant
'sad' look on his face, even when he is happy. He can't
help it; it's how he was made.
Contrary to what others think, Mr Lorne is happily
in love with Arcadia, living with her and her owner
in the nice country Denmark. Their owner treats them
well, and never mistreats them. Lorne couldn't be
happier with his life as it is, and is extremely optimistic!

Why are they sad?
Tristram is sad, because well... He was forgotten, and nobody cares. He just wants to live a normal life like all the other plushie pups, but they don't notice him. He feels like he is just the wind. You can feel it, but not see it. He just wishes for some more hope and faith in his life.

Why are they sad? He is sad because he is waiting. Waiting for someone to choose him instead of the others. Someone who doesn't mind having a sad PP, who will cuddle with him even though he doesn't cuddle as much as others, who will look behind the sad expression and see a PP who is happy because he has someone there for him. Unfortunately he can't say all that, a mute PP with a sad expression is always overlooked he thinks.
