"I was always interested in perfect shapes, even as a Viscling. Perhaps that's why I now craft marbles."

It began one foggy winter evening. The temperature had already dropped below 0 when she and Bodhie took a rather long walk down an unfamiliar street in a town unknown to the both of them. Their tired paws trudged forward in hopes of finding a place to stay for the night, but the outlook seemed bleak as the last sign of life they passed was nearly ten minutes the opposite direction. As the sun began to set, the two drew closer to what seemed to be the only building within a mile's range. Their hearts began to flutter at the possibility of the large structure being a hotel, or least some sort of cabin with a very understanding Viscet inside. But, as they drew nearer, they realized that was not in fact the case. Actually, they couldn't have been more wrong.

On a dark green wooden sign, barely illuminated by a struggling fluorescent bulb, read two simple words: "The Dump." Somber's tail drooped to the ground.

"What now?" She whined, "It's freezing out here, and there's no where to go."

Bodhie sympathetically nuzzled her side. "I guess we'll just have to stay here... Someone must have thrown out a heater, right?"

She rolled her eyes, but still followed the blue Viscet through a hole in the fence.

Once they arrived, Somber readily agreed- someone must have thrown out a heater. There were stacks, upon stacks, upon stacks of junk. She passed by snapped wires, broken toasters, and dented fenders. Clothes, toothpaste, shoes, cups, and books lined her path, and she was careful to step over all of the garbage. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a bundle of what appeared to be electronics.

"Bodhie! Over here!" She called. The two began sifting through the trash until they found a single hot head. Bo had known the tool from a rather handy Viscet he'd met on his travels, and new the dangers.

"A hot head is a gas torch. It appears to be quite full, and seems to work fine as well. But we should probably dig a hole to burn something in... This would be a big fire," he said.

Vinny's main hobby is painting. He always painted when he was young, even on the walls. Eventually when he turned 18 he wanted to live on his own. He now has a nice home in the suburbs with plenty of trees around him. He sells his paintings to his neighbors and customers online. He explores the world to go to different art museums and attractions from famous artists. A side hobby of Vinny's is playing the piano. He never talks about it much, but if you bring it up, he will be more than glad to tell you about it. Vinny was getting lonely and decided he needed friends. His last hobby is theater and acting. He lives near an old theater that has been around for 100+ years! The theater is called "barnstormers" because the people who made the theater 100 years ago used to preform in barns. He has a few friends in the theater. He's friends with the volunteers, the prop designer, and the co- owner of the theater. Sometimes he gets asked to be at a few fairs. At the fair he paints pictures of people or things. He likes going to the fairs because, one, it's fun, two, he gets a decent amount of money too! In conclusion, Vinny is an outgoing, creative, and friendly guy.

Calibrin makes homemade jewelry. It all started during something she likes to call, "the wire fiasco," an event that occurred when a friend of hers delivered a ton of wire-filled boxes to her home as a prank. Calibrin, at first, didn't know what to do with it. She didn't want to throw it away, but what could it be used for? That's when it hit her right in the face - quite literally, since she'd been pacing her house and hadn't been paying attention - jewelry making. She's quite thankful she ran into that dusty, broken jewelry box, for if she hadn't, who knows; those boxes of wire might've been in her front yard for eternity. It took her quite some time to learn the tools of the trade; she was pretty bad at first, making things that not even the poor would consider wearable. Calibrin spent many nights awake researching and testing new techniques, hoping against hope that she'd strike rich and make something beautiful. She didn't realize how dedicated she was becoming until after two months, when she finally succeeded. She'd been working on a necklace for around a week, and she'd finally finished, surprised at how good it looked. The wire was bent in the most perfect ways, and the fake, plastic gems that had been so carefully placed and glued gleamed in the light of her bedside table lamp; truly her greatest creation. Pleased with the result, she wrote down the technique she'd used; tweezers help with everything, especially gem placement. That was around five years ago. By now, she's made around 1,000 pieces of jewelry, some of which she's sold, but most of which she's kept. Calibrin makes an effort to thank the friend for the prank at least once a day. If not for them, she wouldn't have ever found a hobby.

Nani's hobby is woodwork, which comes as a surprise to most Viscet's who meet her. Why would this girly-looking girl like something so.. Boyish? Truth is, it started from her father. Her mother died before Nani hatched, causing her father to care for her since the time she hatched. Now, Nani's father was extremely like a boy. I mean, he was a male, right? He liked things boys liked, like cars, woodwork, building, things.

Nani was extremely connected to her father, Moka (Made up.). The two were really close, Moka doing nothing without Nani and Nani doing nothing with Moka. Nani admired him, watching everything he did. She got into his hobbies, such as watching football (American soccer) and building things. It turns out this girl was extremely creative with wood.

Around the age of two years, she was an expert. Sanding wood, then carving it into beautiful artworks or into things people could use in there daily life, such as dressers or bookshelves. She was selling it just a year or two after trying it. Many people already marveled her work.

Then Nani became the age where she had to leave. She had to already put it off for a long time, an extra year to spend with her dear father. So, Nani waited until a week. But, something drastic happened before.

Nani was spending the day with her father. It was quite a chilly day and snow had fallen the night before. Moka and his daughter were hiking a mountain, like they usually did. All of a sudden, the ground started to groan and grumble and shake violently. Snow started cascading the mountain and Moka yelled at his daughter to run. So, she did. And lost her father in the process, causing him to be pronounced dead a few minutes after the avalanche.

So, she left and started to teach other children and Viscet's woodwork in her new town.

sage doesn't make maps the normal way. they make maps from their imagination. they see maps everywhere. in the stars, in wood, on the grass. they are all mazes waiting to be explored.

they paint maps to imaginary places of freedom and stars. places that they wish were true. they often see the places in their mind and visualize vivid and fanatical ways to get there.

when sage has come up with a satisfactory map idea, they paint them on walls.

they charge money for a painting. sage delicately pours their heart into each piece.

sage charges 20 USD a wall, but they aren't picky. they know that people who can't afford a painting would really enjoy one, so they accept all kinds of interesting payments. they've had the following odd payments given to them:

they began making the maps first as a hobby. sage's friends soon convinced them to paint the maps on canvas.

they realized how beautiful the walls looked and wanted to do more. sage then started on murals, and was eventually asked to paint someone's wall for cash.
