Oasis' favourite form of art is poetry and it has always been, since he learned to write as a little Viscling.
You must know that poetry is very important for Oasis because he is mute. He hears perfectly fine, but since he has been born, he has never been able to make a single sound and therefore has never been able to express himself. When Oasis was younger, he only could show how he felt through his expressions, which actually wasn't always very easy because expressions alone could always be misinterpreted. His parents noticed this and soon they found an older Viscet, deaf and mute, who expressed himself through Sign Language. This older Viscet soon taught Oasis how Sign Language worked, but the younger Viscet still was not satisfied. With Sign Language, he was at least able to tell others what he wanted or could state his opinion, but he still was not able to express his feelings as much as he wanted to.
And then someday he discovered poetry. Oasis' pack was living on huge land near to human villages and cities and it was normal for the Viscets to take strolls through the human environment, where they were much welcome. Oasis loved the cities of the people, and he especially enjoyed talking to them, since humans often understood his signing even better than his own species. One day, there was a huge market going on. It was summers time, children where playing or eating ice cream or cotton candy, while their parents watched over them. Other people were selling stuff, some of them were artists who presented and peformed their form of art. There were painters, calligraphers, glassblowers, blacksmiths, actors and others. Although Oasis enjoyed every single one of them, the one who caught his attraction was a young man, sitting quite alone and obviously talking to himself. When Oasis approached and listened, he realized, that this was not ordinary human language, but something special. Poetry, it was called, as he soon found out.
As soon as Oasis heard about poetry the first time, he wanted to learn more about it. He started to read about poetry and soon he started to write himself.
Oasis loves to play with metaphors and imagery, they are a significant items in his writing. He enjoys all the possibilities he has while writing and his favourite fact about poetry is, how you can make words alive, just by adding rhythm, rhymes or changing the rules of syntax and morphology. He has finally found a way to express his feelings without having to make a single sound. He also really enjoys to make his poetry pleasing for the eye, that's why he also learned calligraphy, to add the little extra to his poems.

Oasis is still a quite young Viscet and therefore full of energy and curiosity, which sometimes makes him a little careless and incautious. Besides writing poetry and calligraphy, he especially enjoys meeting new friends, and for him it doesn't matter if they are Viscets just like him or of any other species or kind. He can makes friends with humans quite easy, sometimes he even prefers them over his own kind, because since he is mute and uses Sign Language, humans often tend to understand him better than other Viscets do. He still has quite a few Viscet-friends, though, most of them are very similar to him - full of energy, eager to learn and especially very playful and also a bit childish. Even though Oasis can write very sad poems sometime, he is a total optimist and can even see the good things in the worst of times. It's very hard to bring him down and even him being angry at someone or something is only a very rare occassion. He loves telling jokes - in SL of course - and pranking, he enjoys simple games just as hide-and-seek or catch and he loves water and swimming and can even dive quite well. His hunting skills are also quite astonishing and while diving he is able to catch fish.

Art ; shirley's favorite art form is crayon melting art (not only the kind on canvases). not only does the art look amazing, but the texture is what she really likes! it's soft, melty and waxy, but it is not hard to touch at all- in fact, the crayon feels pretty nice on your hand! shirley also loves crayon candles- crayondles! she has huge packs of crayons around her house, carved and shaped into strange (and not-so-strange) formations. it's her absolute favorite art form, even if it isn't too widely known. she was first introduced to crayon art online, actually, with a picture on the internet. compelled to try it herself, she bought some crayons, and only got better at it from there.

As a child, Iris never found a style of art that she enjoyed. Everything just seemed too hard, or boring. That was until an older viscet introduced her to zentangles. It was basically love at first sight. She instantly felt creative, and found something that she was both good at, and enjoyed. Iris enjoys this art method because it allowed her to add something a little different to any pieces. During childhood, Iris always had to deal with stress and anxiety, and art like this really helped her get through hard times.

Since she was a small viscling, Lolli has enjoyed collecting smooth pebbles from the beach and
painting on them. It's just a hobby that she discovered when she was at primary school, when
things where simple and school was fun.
As she grew older, this past-time has stayed her favourite and her skills had improved. Now she
paints beautiful sceneries on the pebbles, which include silhouettes of forests in front of starry
skies. She normally just keeps them and decorates her garden with them, or puts simpler ones
in plant pots to make them look prettier. But her favourite thing to do with them is to give them
to her friends or family, or even children. If you receive one from her, then you know that she
considers you as a good person, or that you are an important part of her life. However, if you
discard of it and she finds out, she will loose respect for you as they aren't easy to do.



Personality:

Lolli is a bold and bright girl, always alert and quite positive. Her intelligence stretches far as
she is able to take in what she learns and remembers it after a while. She also enjoys reading
non-fiction books or biographies in her spare time, and always comes out with interesting or
even weird facts when everything goes silent. She may even say such things if she is nervous in
front of new people. It's something that she is known for.
Her strongest quality is loyalty, something she will never run out of, even though in the past she
hasn't been trusted. She hates the fact that people would stab someone in the back, and thinks it
is wrong, hence why she is so trustworthy.
Apart from that, she can be quite selfish without realising. Lolli doesn't mean to want everything
or better items, but cannot help it when it is something she desires. This mainly happens when it
comes to food, she can be greedy and selfish when there isn't much left. You just have to be quick,
because when she is eyeing something up, you don't have much time to say something before she
claims it!
A quirk she has is not being able to stop talking or sit still. Some have said that she is like a two-
year-old, constantly fidgeting and not being able to go five minutes without saying something or
asking someone a question. She can't help it; she just has so much to say and so many things to
explore!

School years:

As a young viscet at school, Lolli enjoyed learning and finding out how things worked. It wasn't
hard to find friends, as she just started talking to others. However, as she grew older, things
seemed repeated, and she thought that she knew the answers to theories and equations. Less
focused now, she managed to get herself into trouble for talking too much to others and
apparently 'distracting the leaning of those around her'.
Despite the fact that she kept getting warnings from teachers, she still done well in school,
but didn't really know what to do with her knowledge. Now that she has left school, she still
widens her knowledge by visiting her local library and reading in there. She feels that she needs
to fill herself with information, because she never knows when it will come in handy in the future.
