Favorite Holiday - No, it's actually not Halloween - even though you might suggest that because of his fur. But Charlie's favourite Holiday is actually a very weird one. You might ask which? It is the National Potato Chip Day! And I am not kidding you - this holiday really does exist in the USA. For 2016 it's March 14th.
But why does Charlie love especially this holiday? It's actually quite simple - he just loves Potato Chips. But he doesn't just love them, he is crazy after them. Since he was a little Viscling, Charlie's favourite food have been Potato Chips. He grew up as a show Viscet in a human family and since the day he stole a pack of Chips from one of the children, Charlie can't think of anything better than Potato Chips. He even was pretty fat for a while, because he couldn't stop eating them, so his human family hat to bake them from fresh potatoes especially for Charlie, so he would loose weight again. Now Charlie even makes them by himself. He especially enjoys to eat them together with Ranch Cheese Dipping.
Extra (About) - Charlie is a weird guy to be around, especially because of his love to Potato Chips, but this also has his advantages, because he loves to share. Sometimes he bakes lots and lots of Potato Chips and makes tons of Dips, just so he can share his favourite food with his best friends - so if Charlie should offer you some home-made Potato Chips and his classic Ranch Cheese Dip - you shouldn't better say no, because he really might get offended. He also really loves to talk about Potato Chips - man, he knows all the stories in detail. But other than that, he's a great Viscet to be around. He's a little snobbish, which might be, because he's a show Viscet, but other than that he's sweet, helping and has a nice sense of humor. He loves to eat, besides Potato Chips he also enjoys Pizza and Tortillas and pretty much all savory snacks. Potato Chips will still probably be his favourites forever.

Zoe is not into holidays that much, but if she HAD to pick one, it would be Halloween. It's fun to become what you physically can't be and live your dreams for one night a year. She loves how any age could participate, whether it's a young Viscling dressing up or an adult Viscet decorating their den for the night. She feels most people put a lot of preparation into it, even if you don't have to.

OF COURSE its Halloween! Why? Well, come on, what other holiday passes out FREE candy?!
And I love to dress up! Its the only time of year I can be as weird as I want and not get weird looks! I love costumes, make-up, monsters, and getting to hang out with friends. Why, its the only holiday I can be me and no one questions the silliness, or the odd style of whatever I'm wearing. I mean, when else could I wear snakes all over my head and no one thinks its weird?
Also, I do make up effects, and make really nifty monsters for a living, its not the most glamorous job, but I love it more than anything. Its the only job I've ever had where I can literally make people ugly and get paid for it.

Hotaru's favorite holiday by far is the Mid-Autumn Festival. First and foremost, however, he adores the legend, history, and thanksgiving aspects behind the celebration. While not much of a romantic at heart (since the legend behind the festival focuses on the devotion between a husband and his wife, and celebrates the wife's sacrifice), he's always valued the importance of family, no matter the type of relationship. While he wasn't born in China as evidenced by his name, the celebration of the festival has always been a constant for him. He and his adoptive father would always take a week off to travel up to Beijing from Singapore and attend the festival, provided that money wasn't too tight that year. His father got Hotaru hooked on mooncakes fairly quickly, specifically the ones filled with sweet bean paste or the rarer pecan-filled ones. Hotaru's favorite part about the festival, though, was watching the seemingly floating lanterns and "catching" one out of the sky to read its hidden message (and his father was always content to pay that extra few yuan to appease Hotaru, even after Hotaru cleared his own spending money by binging out on mooncakes.). And every year without fail, Hotaru's always seen at least one stray lantern float on the breeze all by itself, and he always makes a little game out of counting the stray lanterns as the number of instances of good luck for the upcoming winter. And in return, Hotaru would boisterously vocalize one by one as to what or who he was thankful for that specific year. To his father's hidden delight, Hotaru always set him at the very top of the list.

This year particularly holds some strong melancholy undertones for Hotaru, however. His father died the previous year right at the end of the summer, and in his grief, Hotaru missed the habitual trip up to Beijing for the festival. He hasn't been a child nor has he been under his father's direct care for a while now, but the pangs are felt as if he were still a lost little boy. Hotaru's father was his confidant, his... friend.

Though, with such an open and undaunted personality, Hotaru's never dealt with sadness very well. He still hurts, but he hopes that this year can be the start of something different for his favorite holiday. He wants the festival to be not only a time of joy, but also a memorial for his beloved father.
