Parrapups, or Parras, are an omnivorous, aviary quadrupedal species that originated from tropical areas, but after they were domesticated, they gained more levels of fur and different beaks. All parras spend a lot of time cleaning themselves, and preening their feathers if they have wings. Parras come with a variety of tails and beaks, but good luck finding one that does! Having a large gene pool Parras also have the chance to show some mutations. They come in a large variety of colors including bright neons and dull greys. All parras are a very social in some way and love to whistle, sing, and chatter to others- Parra or not!

How will this parra survive the contagion: The liquid in his mask is the only thing keeping the contagion contained and allows him to survive, without it, he would surely die. As it courses through his veins, the serum does as well, and he's constantly having to keep an eye on it to make sure he keeps it filled. Exposing himself to the air around him causes the process to speed up though, and if he is without his mask for too long, he will start to suffer the consequences and will feel the pain of the contagion. However, there is hope in his future, as he works on the serum to perfect it and make it stronger, he will come across the right formula that will eventually rid himself of the contagion all together and he will be able to live without worrying about what will become of him and he will only have to wear his mask when he wants to, since he's so used to wearing it. After a couple doses of the stronger serum, he will healthy again, able to survive against the contagion if it were ever to return, and he will be able to aid any others who might suffer form the same disease he does.

Personality- Byo is a smooth talking parra, often complimenting others on something, and trying to manipulate them into what he wants if he can't get it by an others means. Don't misjudge him yet though, he is a helpful parra, often staying up late to create more of the serum for others so they may survive like he has for just a little longer. He is a self sacrificing soul who enjoys helping others, but he does have his breaking point where he'll just snap and no longer do anything for others for a day or two, before he goes right back to what he was doing. He rarely loses his cool for other reasons though, others can insult him, and he'll just lash back or walk away depending on if he feels they're even worth his time. He enjoys the company of others on occasion, but also enjoys being alone where he can question things about life, his friends, himself. Being alone gives him time to think and ponder on how the world ticks until he falls asleep at night. He often ponders on relationships most of all, and if he's in one he ponders on that until all hours of the night.

Likes-
Jellies, any and all kinds, he likes to see all the different colored jars lined up on his shelves
Soaps, he loves how they make things clean, and he particularly enjoys the shaped bar soaps the most
Oranges, he loves the scent, the color, the taste, he often enjoys an afternoon snack of them while pondering
Squishy Things, just the feeling of having something squishy between his paws makes him the happiest parra alive, and he often enjoys collecting squishy things

Dislikes-
Sour things, as he does not enjoy the way they make the sides of his cheeks hurt
Large amounts of mud, it's always a pain to clean off, often sticking to his fur and he just does not enjoy the feel of being coated in it a lot
Being sick, he hates this most of all, he hates the contagion, and hates being sick period as it disallows him to be his 100% best that he can be
Large amount of noise, it makes it difficult for him to think and he cannot ponder on things if too many loud noises are all happening at once

What if I am the contagion? What if I'm the one causing everyone to grow sick and weary and die? What if the antidote I created isn't curing me, but merely stopping me from spreading? It doesn't effect the others the same way it does me. I have to make a special batch just for everyone else. I was the first to get sick, but not the first to die? What if this is all my fault? Of course, I can't be sure, I'd have to do some tests, but what if it's true? How will I tell the others that I am the contagion? That I started this? That I'm killing everyone off? What if this is really all my fault?

Short.Story:

Maximilian is a parra who believes he is a young, self-taught scientist.He wants to save the world from all the parasites and diseases(including any contagions) that makes a parra sick and wishes to find cures for all of them. It is a big dream, and he is way too confident that he will succeed(and nobody can stop him it seems). The main reason for this is because he already lost quite a few friends and families from diseases, and he doesn't want more leaving him.
He often experiments on himself and results in after-effects such as the glow on his thighs. After so many experiments, he has changed quite a bit. The gas mask he wears is specifically made for him and he sometimes needs to wear the mask to stabilize himself, or he can go a bit crazy(Of course, he can use the mask for pollutants as well). However, this is not stopping him. He often chatters on about how great he would be once he is cures everything bad and everyone lives happily ever after.

How will this parra survive the contagion:
How will he survive? Simple. The mask he wears pumps a liquid into his system which are like mega anti-bodies. If any of his cells are corrupted then these 'advanced anti-bodies' un-corrupt the cells. Though upon using it the first time that's how those weird marks appeared near his back legs, because it didn't work the first time meaning some cells got corrupted but weren't exactly fixed probably. But they are not dangerous to him and always feels tingly or a bit sore at times.
The liquid doesn't always work and when he runs out he has to be quick to replenish the liquid with many of the containers he carries around. Tang secretly fears the day he runs out of the liquid and hopes he finds a new source of it so he may keep on living.
The mask also has another use. It protects him from breathing in the toxic gases around, kinda like a gas mask. He is now rarely seen not wearing it, in fact he even wears it in his sleep and the only time he does take it off is to replenish the liquid.

Tang is a bit of a quite Parra. He doesn't talk much (mainly because the mask makes it hard to) but he is always out for other's well-fare. That doesn't mean he would happily abandon people because he doesn't like them.
Though when Tang rarely accepts promises but when he does, he keeps to them. So if you ask him to promise something he would just go silent and walk away if he didn't promise. This is how he usually abandons people.
History:
No one really knows Tang's history. He just seemed to come out of nowhere. Mainly because he did come out of Nowhere. Nowhere is in fact a company who raise creatures and animals and experiment on them. Tang was one of the outcomes along with his mask. He was once a normal, black parra but the experiments changed him into what he is now. Then the company released him to see how he would survive, the camera they attached to him broke at one point and fell off him. Meaning he had complete freedom.
But Nowhere still hunt for their missing experiment. They don't actually know what he would do upon interaction or if he's still alive.
Little did they know he was the kick-off for the contagion due to the badly fixed cells on his back leg being contagious.
Likes:
1) Tang likes having company that don't totally rely on him and don't make him promise anything
2) At times Tang likes to sit in muddy water before rolling around in it. Why? Well at Nowhere they had to keep their test-subjects perfectly clean...so Tang feels like he breaking a lot of rules by doing this. Though afterwards he has to take off his mask to clean it.
3) Finding new places because then it's a adventure for him. He can run around places and discover the safe and un-safe areas of it.
Dislikes:
1) Tang dislikes it a lot when people try to force him into making a promise. Those people he usually leaves behind.
2) Getting hurt. He hates the pain and seeing himself bleed. Doesn't help he has a slight fear of blood.
3) Spiders. He hates how they just magically appear somewhere and like to jump scare him to no end.

How will this parra survive the contagion: He has a plan, it may not be the nicest plan to the other parras but he doesnt reallly care for them. His Plan is to build up his stock, food, money, weapons and stay in a abandoned hospital, one thats has been out of order for over 20 years. The Liquid in his mask is liquid antibodies that auto turns on when ever he gets near other parras so if they had the contagion it would protect him. He would build up his defenses both mentally and physically to keep others out, and if any one comes near is base he sets of one of his traps dotted around the base to get rid of any one.
