Parrapups, or Parras, are an omnivorous, aviary quadrupedal species that originated from tropical areas, but after they were domesticated, they gained more levels of fur and different beaks. All parras spend a lot of time cleaning themselves, and preening their feathers if they have wings. Parras come with a variety of tails and beaks, but good luck finding one that does! Having a large gene pool Parras also have the chance to show some mutations. They come in a large variety of colors including bright neons and dull greys. All parras are a very social in some way and love to whistle, sing, and chatter to others- Parra or not!

His name if I got him would be Nether after the nether from minecraft,or as i like to call it the flaming pits of minecraft which fits him sence he is a teenager so i thought that would work good.Not only that but I think that Kalaborn {Homestuck reference} would also work so If i got him, his nickname would be Kalaborn. But that asides his full nane is Nether T. Gresim
☹ How would you help him?::
I would give him a note book,a couple pencles,erasers,and some pens.I would play one derection for an hour.Turn it of and pkay a song that,if what I've read should work call Oh no by maria and the diamonds them tell him to write and draw.I would put on diffrent songs.After the note book would be full, i would look at it and see what i could do to fixs his emoutions.And if none of that i would just tell him,"You'r the only one who knows you best.Do what you like is the best."

As bad as it sounds,yes.I don't really see him change completely.Thought if i got i'd make him a littel better with his emotions and he'd be mora clam and lonely then crazy and angry.He would still have the happy part and the crazyness and anger.He'd just be better at keeping them under control.

How would you help him?: I would help him get over his emotional phase by showing him that many others suffer from emotions in the world, not just him. Hopefully that would ease the situation. But if that goes wrong, I know music cheers me up when I'm sad, so I may have to try that too ; )
Is this some phase or will he be like this forever?: This is a phase, but hopefully in the future he will keep his adorable beads to show that he has feelings too! ((He'd be a somewhat tough guy))

His name: Lotus (In Greek Mythology a legendary plant whose fruit induces a dreamy forgetfulness and an unwillingness to depart) Yeah he doesn't know why he was named after some old plant either, he's rather peeved at it himself. It's okay though, he's pretty forgetful and never stays angry for long.

Personality: Lotus likes taking long walks by himself, at night, sometimes getting lost in the process. He enjoys having time to himself to think and daydream. He can be pretty hot headed, and is pretty impatient. His favorite season is fall because it is the perfect time for him to dress up in scarves and people don't question his little masks that he wears to represent his favorite holiday, Halloween. With a great love of sweets and dressing up, it's only natural that he be in love with Halloween. Besides being sassy and sharp tongued, Lotus is surprisingly shy and gets embarrassed by little things.

Strange hobby: Lotus loves scarves, particulary long, knitted ones. He wears a scarf any time the weather allows for it, he tried wearing his beautiful scarves during summertime one year and nearly fainted from the heat. Besides scarves he enjoys warm sweaters to keep him warm, he gets cold quite easily and likes to bundle up.
How would you help him?:I would give him cuddles and knit him a festive sweater. I'm sure he'd love that. ... Right? He doesn't really need help, so I would just spend time with him and be there for him.
Is this some phase or will he be like this forever?: Phase? What are you thinking? He will be like this forever. He's perfect just the way he is, wouldn't change a thing. ♥ Besides, change is bad. XP

Short Story
It's the time of year when the leaves are beginning to fall, and the temperature is just low enough to argue a scarf is necessary. Lotus has a dark pink scarf draped neatly around his neck, he knows it looks good on him. He lies with his paws crossed in front of him, a light wind blowing his hair askew. Huffing, he shakes his head, his ears flattened in irritation as his unruly hair resiliently won't go back into place. Disgruntled, he gives up and rests his paws. It doesn't take long for him to think of something to do. He licks his lips, pink eyes looking around. Where can I get some water? He wonders. Deciding there is only one way to find a drink, he lazily stands to his feet and starts walking.

It seems like ages have past when he's certain he hears running water, excited he walks faster through the thick forest. His ears perk up, he's definitely really close. A few more yards of walking and he reaches a steep bank, which he carefully climbs down to get to the flowing water he spots. Delighted, he prances right up to the rivers edge, leaning over to get himself a drink of the icy cold water. He sees his reflection, his tussled hair hanging over his eyes, his funny appearance makes him blush, quickly shaking his hair out and this time making sure he fixes it. Satisfied when he views his reflections again, he sits down, looking around the unfamiliar area.
"How do I get home from here?"

Demi
(Deh-Me)
The name Demi is more common amongst those of
the female gender due to it being an Abbreviation
of Demetria - The mythological goddess of corn and
harvest - however, this Parra was named Demi for
an entirely different reason. Demi is the French word
for ''Half''. The reason as to why I decided to name him
Demi is due to his emotional state: On one hand, Demi
can be a happy-go-lucky teen who enjoys everything in
life from the flowers that grow in large open field, to the
fact that the sun rises and set every day and this is the
side he tends to show the most to others. But on the
other hand, he can be the total opposite - he can be
reserved and aloof, keeping things to himself, and being
down and depressed. He only shows this side of him to
a certain amount of people who he trusts, which he has
little of. So weather you know him well or not, you only
really get to see one half of him - hence, Demi.


Demi tends to be reluctant to follow the help of others
due to the depression that clouds his mind and chains
him down to the deepest and darkest places in his mind.
Behind that smile that he shows others is someone who
tends to doubt that anything can truly help him in life.
Though, I would try to help him with his depression and
to just give him a helping hand. I wouldn't be someone
who would want to change him, for telling him ''things
get better'' or ''just try to be happy'' will not do anything
to help him. Instead, I'll just share with him my stories
of how I felt down for this will let him know that he isn't
the only one going through the emotions he is. I would try
to keep his mind occupied - getting him CD's of his
favourite bands and watching movies that he likes. I'd also
gift him as well to show him how much I truly care for him,
and I'd always complement him, just to let him know that
he is all the positive things that he doesn't believe
he is. I feel as though he deserves all these things, even
if he does not believe that himself.

Since a young toddler, Demi has always been this way. There have been people come in and out of his life who try
to help him out and most of them either give up or Demi simply tells them it's no use and resigns himself from
their practice. It's hard to get him to reveal his true feelings and he tends to conceal them with a smile or a joke.
Sadly, it seems as though this is not a phase for he has always been this way and it would take a lot to get him
out of it. Not that it is a negative thing, however, for Demi loves his style and the way he looks.

His appearance is number one to him for it gives him a little confidence boost weather he is in a good or bad mood.
If he is content in the way he looks, you can find him having a little skip in his step and wiggle his hips happily,
even if deep down he does not feel his best. Whenever he has a bad hair day, however, you'll see that darker
demeanour of his show for he will freak and get both angry and upset over the fact his hair will not go perfectly.
The little curl he has tends to bug him a lot, though no matter what he does it will not change.
