I decided to make a unique but egyptian inspired design since the egypt event is over c:
Oh dear!
A plumerian seemed to have escaped from the rubble of Archie the archeologists dig site!
What does it want?
To win this plumerian simply write a story about it.
You can have extras such as art and personality. Go nuts!
TIPS:- I love unique personalities that aren't cliche
- Expressive art (so not simply the plumerian standing but the plumerian doing something that pertains to it)
- Effort. I am always very impressed when people try and go above and beyond.
- Good coding helps but won't be a major part of what I judge you on.
- Creative forms
- Code: Select all

Hello everyone, this is Acid-tripp. I'm Water's younger sibling. She has since moved and forgotten about CS but is happy. Any activity on her account since around 2018 I believe has been me. I'm sorry for all of the people still active who wish to communicate with her but can't. I wish you all a great day/night and i'm sorry.

Username:Mai-mai-mari
Name:Abayomi (Male); Means 'Bringer of joy'
Nickname:Yomi
Age:19
Birthday:September 19th
Sexuality:Heterosexual

XXX
Personality:A charismatic leader; Abayomi is the descendant of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh- or so he proclaims. He Was born as 'filth' in the streets of Cairo; growing up in a poor home; however; no one could predict his extrovertive nature would lead him to become not only well known- but well versed in social politics and skilled in the art of speech. He excels in using his words; and can mask his humble beginnings with a rich disguise; even in the most trying of social faux pas. He has a way about him that makes him seem inquisitive and genuinely interested in what others have to say-even if he isn't. Because of his manner of speech, many become enthralled with him instantly- and sometimes he uses their adoration to his advantage. He isn't an outward liar or cheat; but he has the bad habit of making up small lies about silly things simply to boost his social acceptance. He is an accomplished liar; and an even more skillful actor. He dreams of one day becoming a governor; or becoming a member of the Popular Assembly in his country; and proving himself to his family. He does have a few strange quirks; as he often is very impulsive and persistant. He doesn't take no for an answer; and if he sees something he wants he will go to any lengths to achieve it. Because of his bold nature, he'll take any bet or dare- especially if theres money involved. Due to the way that he grew up, he grabs at any chance to prove himself better than the others- his ambition is both a good and bad quality; as it pushes him forward- but he doesn't always know when to quit.
He's adaptable; and can change himself to suit any situation, even if its not in his favor; His clever mind can solve most problems in an instant; with a lie or some other means. Outside of social interactions; he's much to the expectations of anyone from the streets. He's vulgar; not afraid to use language or threats; and a joker. He's a bit stingy; and not open to using money he doesn't have to. He has a strange aversion to the color blue; as it reminds him of the colors his mother used in her home back when he was younger. Though many may associate it to fond memories; he can't stand the color because it reminds him that he's from a poor family. He won't eat or drink anything blue; and refuses to have anything blue in his home. He gets angry if you remind him that his feathers are blue- He can't stand them. He might come off as a bit of a jerk; but all he really wants is to find somewhere he belongs. His biggest goal is to find someone who loves him; but he's very misguided. He mistakes love and adoration with power, and it shows in his personality. He just needs someone to teach him the difference.

Likes
Birds-He sees them as regal; free; and gentle.
He sees them as a representation of himself
and who he wants to be someday.
Money-He likes wealth as it makes him feel 'loved'
He thinks he has to have money to be cared for; and
because of that misconception he is very stingy with his
finances
Art- He loves art and things that are delicate
and beautiful. He sees them as the ultimate vision of
being 'important'; to have something made single
handedly just for him would stun him.
The color gold-He associates the color with
wealth and with his own fur colors. He loves the golden
sheen in his black fur; and loves that it catches the colors
of the sun.
Dares/games/bets-He loves a challenge, or a chance
to prove himself. The best way to fool this clever plumie
is to offer a game, a riddle, or a difficult dilemma. He
feels that by completing difficult tasks, he can show
that he's not just some 'boy from the streets'
Dislikes
Being wrong/a failure-He hates being wrong.
Being shown up is something he just CAN'T stand.
It means he's failed himself, failed to show he's
not trash. Even the smallest disappointment
wracks his mind and makes him insist upon
fixing it, no matter the cost.
Being tricked- Since he is a clever individual,
he cannot stand being tricked himself. It's being
bested at his own game, and it makes him
angry.
The color blue-He grew up in a home full
of the color blue. His mother adored the color,
but the color reminds him that he left home and
where he came from- It generally just annoys him
to see it. He avoids having the color around if he
can help it. He gets disgusted to look at himself
because he sees his blue feathers.
Boats-After his father lost his life on a
fishing trip,Yomi refuses to go anywhere near
a boat or the river if he doesn't have to. He
much prefers travelling on foot.

Expressionism
Its often said that Yomi has two moods, Pleased and displeased. Though he does feel emotions quite heavily- he does not reveal his feelings to others unless they are very close to him or he thinks it will benefit him to do so. He only openly shows when he is happy- with a smile or thoughtful silence, or when he is unhappy, with his cold gaze and a frown. Typically he wears a blank expression.
Most who are close to him can generally tell his real mood by what he says and his very subtle actions. It takes a bit to get to know him; and he's skeptical of making real friends on more than a few occasions; but most of those who can read him; know him better than he knows himself. He is very lost in his own self identity.

XXX
Activities: His favorite activities are;surprisingly; ones that he can do by himself. He does prefer his own company to others in his free time; as he finds it nice to just sit alone when he can. He is a skillful archer- a trait he learned from his father; who was a skillful craftsman of bows and arrows; but unfortunately due to the lack of demand for quality archery equipment he went out of business. Despite this; he passed his skills onto his son; and in his time Abayomi does quite enjoy making arrows to fit his father's bow; that he received upon his father's death. He works as a falconer; training the birds to perform shows and deliver messages. He first came across the job on a whim; fulfilling a social requirement to a friend. However, he quickly became a lover of the birds; and continued the strange hobby. Seeing his love for the birds; a local falconer took him on as an apprentice. Yomi is very dedicated to his birds; and collects insects often to feed to his lovelies. His favorite bird is an albino Short-Toed Snake Eagle; that he named Sphinx in relevance to the birds expressive face and as homage to the famous monument.
His childhood:Yomi grew up in poverty; living with his mother. His father had been a bow maker;and when he went out of business he took up fishing to support his family. After an accident on his ship led to his father's death; Yomi and his mother found themselves alone and seen as trash. At a young age; Yomi picked up the bad habit of stealing to feed his mother- out of necessity more than want. He had to steal food; money;anything he could just to keep his mother and himself alive. However; it was during his early teen years that he discovered his gift-one of speech and provocation. He learned he could talk anyone into a deal- so instead of thieving- he took to conning innocent people out of their things. He envied those in the high life from a distance; and became determined to make himself that way someday-no matter what it took. So he abandoned his mother; and put on a guise of regality; insisting he was the descendant of the ancient Egyptian kings. With a new set of clothes; no one recognized the filthy little boy he had been before. He was ready to make his way in the world- and he wasn't going to let anyone stand in his way.
He never had much of a 'childhood' as most people see it- he was forced to grow up too fast. He also never got along with his parents, rather, his mother, that well. She constantly scolded him for stealing and doing bad things, no matter how great the need to do so was. He often argued with her because of this. Though he is older, he never did seek out his mother again after he'd left. He assumes she's passed away; as he hasn't seen her in a very long time. He does secretly hope that isn't true and he does wish to see her again-if only to apologize for the way he was when he was younger and for abandoning her.

His Teen years:
His teen years were spent as a delinquent. He took up conning with his friend and fellow troublemaker Akatora (Owned by Kurloz and used with permission.) He and his partner in crime were heathens to the local populace; pulling scams and pranks on anyone they could. Yomi was the brains- the more clever of the two- and he often found himself using his partner to his own advantage. As they grew up they grew apart a bit; but he still keeps in touch with his old friend, as having someone to work with in shady dealings in politics is never a bad thing.
The two met when Akatora ran from police in the streets of Cairo- yomi spying a fellow criminal, and knowing the streets better than this obvious outsider- he chose to help him escape. After aiding him in this flight- the two stuck together, as it was shortly after Yomi had left his mother behind and he was otherwise alone. They were at first reluctant acquaintances; but soon were good friends. He knows Akatora only wants to do the right thing; even if he doesn't go about it in the best ways, and its something he often finds himself relating to.

His young adulthood:
-Current time-
Only recently has he picked up his job as a falconer. Despite this being his official profession, he attends all political functions he can weasel his way into. He is well known among high society; and that's precisely what he wants. He's currently trying to sneak his way into political standing through any means necessary- even going as far as to hire assassins to take care of the naysayers in his way. He might be corrupt- but he genuinely wants to help others when he has a say in government. He just has to get there first.
He's well liked because of his charismatic attitude; and his secret illegal affairs are just that- secret and out of sight. He has many contacts in the black market, assassin guilds, and thieves. He fits in well among them, and the money he gets from stolen loot and his own well-paying job makes him quite a force to be reckoned with. He's one you'd really be better off staying on the good side of.
He has a criminal outer edge, but he is a gentle soul who just lets his ambitions control him a bit too much.

Matters of the heart:
Having always been a fighter, and more of a loner, Yomi isn't well versed in expressing his emotions or his love for others. He has feelings, and even a slight crush on the local artist Nala, but he would deny to the death this fact. He refuses to believe he's capable of loving anyone- the fact that he desires to be loved and cared for himself is a subconscious want.
He doesn't much know the meaning of family- but perhaps as he grows up and starts to realize how alone he's made himself- he really will start to understand, Or perhaps he just needs a kind soul to give him someone to share his heart with.
His future is undetermined- but he's young and he's got his whole life ahead of him to figure it out.

A bit of Rivalry:
Yomi has a rivalry with Perseus; He sees him as a threat- even if the other plumie has never directly threatened him. He can't stand those he knows he can't beat. He wants him out of the way-even if he has to use bad methods to do so. He has a few political rivals- but most aren't stupid enough to get in his way. Perseus is mostly entirely oblivious to Yomi's silent dislike.
He does have the slight notion that Yomi doesn't like him- but doesn't know about the sheer hatred that Yomi harbors for him. Yomi could possibly in the future overcome his fear of the demigod- but thus far it seems a very unlikely thing. It is in his nature to fear and go against those who are more powerful than him- as only by getting rid of those above him can he take their place. A harsh nature to have- but one that keeps him striving forward.

Friends,Enemies, and Acquaintances
All used with permission.
Akatora
His best friend of youth and teenage partner in crime. They are now a bit distant, but still get along pretty well. See 'His teen Years' above for more.
Cassia Briar
Yomi is not always above foul play to accomplish his goals. Though he won't personally dirty his hands- he's more than often paid Cassia to handle situations on his behalf-whether it be as a bodyguard, or just 'keeping someone busy' for a time so that he can have his way. He met her on the streets of Cairo, where she's well known as a skillful assassin and even more known among the corrupt political figureheads that Yomi is trying to join.
Nala
Yomi has a weakness for artists. He first came across Nala at a market with her paintings, awestruck by the artwork- he saw the art as the finest points of being a member of high society. Something beautiful-yet not inherently necessary, and representing money that could be wasted. He has a slight fancy for her, on behalf of her artwork, however, he is too respectful of her to actually speak to her so he just watches from a curious distance.
Perseus
Yomi has heard rumors of the demigod from a distance, seeing him only in fleeting matters, and not actually speaking to him. He is heavily intimidated by Perseus' power and leadership skills; and has a secret wish to see him dead. He's tried to convince Cassia on more than one occasion to 'take care of him'; but she's an assassin, not an idiot.
Alazne
Yomi has a grudging acquaintanceship with this fashion designer from Spain. She is known among social groups as a skilled craftsperson- and Yomi has asked her help in designing new outfits to make an entrance on more than one occasion. However, their relationship is only professional, and they downright dislike each other under any other circumstance.

Story:
The man sat at a table;rolling a coin absentmindedly over his knuckles. The room was empty; but for this man in his chair. "Yomi...you're here again." he rasps in his deep voice when the young plumie is shoved into the room by one of his 'associates'. "Making mistakes you know you shouldn't " he continues. Yomi stands in front of him, proudly puffing his chest out- not about to let himself be intimidated. Though he had an unafraid demeanor- the fear in his bright blue eyes was evident- Man he knew he'd screwed up this time.
"Yomi; how many times do I have to tell you to stay away from my things." he demanded, the sudden loud sound of his palms hitting the desk in his anger causing the young plumerian to jump "..Many times s-sir" he blubbered in response. "Than WHY did you have this!?" the man interrogated; holding up a small bag of coins. Yomi just shrugged innocently- he knew lying was pointless at this point, he'd been caught.
The intimidating man sat in his chair again, considering what horrible fate to give the thief. "Feed him to the crocodiles." he said with a nonchalant wave of his heavy hand. Yomi gulped as the two guards who had thrown him into the room walked in again, clutching his arms and dragging him out. Oh man he was in a mess. His thoughts raced as they hurried him out the door and down the stone steps. Walking through a back alley towards the river.
Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh
Noticing the necklace one of the men was wearing he grinned slightly to himself; that was it- he might not be able to talk his way out of being punished by the boss- but maybe-JUST maybe-he could fool these two buffoons.
"Where'd you get that necklace friend? It's awful pretty." he blurts out. "This old thing? M' daughter made it for me" The man answered, he seemed confused by the sudden inquiry, but that was precisely what Yomi wanted. "Ahh I bet she's lovely; She seems kind and generous- get along with her well?" he pried further.
The two brutes didn't know what had hit them- right after this question Yomi bolted- the two too stunned by the change of topic to even realize for half a second too long- He was gone. He stood in an alleyway as the men cursed themselves for letting him escape. A wide grin spread over his face "Once again, Yomi, you've outdone yourself." he joked at his own expense.
Turning to walk down the alley and go home he was met face to face with one of the guards "Thought you could get away eh?" he asked, reaching for the smaller Yomi's neck.
-..When he was suddenly kicked in the back and sent flying, another teenage plumie standing behind him "Yo Yomi! You got caught again!" he mocked, unable to resist the opportunity to mess with his friend.
"Shut up Akatora." Yomi snipped, "Let's just go before he wakes up and drags us into the river." he added, grabbing the other boy's arm and dragging him out of view and into a building. Thankfully there were plenty of old empty homes in this part of town.
"Lets just hide here until they give up." he said.
"Good, perfect place to sit down and count this" Akatora proclaimed, holding up a bag of coins he'd snatched from the guard before being dragged off.
"Ah man, you're going to get us in even more trouble." Yomi said, flicking his ears back in defeat "But hey- might as well live it up while we can, right?

Oh dear!
A plumerian seemed to have escaped from the rubble of Archie the archeologists dig site!
What does it want?
Yomi brushed aside the rubble that covered him "Thanks for letting me out" he comments with the smallest of smirks;
"Some jerk thought he could bury me away forever. I'm going to make him regret it."
