Taini is a native american name and means returning moon.
I will mostly call her Tai, what I think will be easier for both of us.

Finally I got this little piece of paper with the number of my Mustang on it. #8009 it said. “Great,” I thought, “an easy number, even I will be able to remember.” So I started to search for my Mustang.

I saw lots of others on my way. Most of them were nervously running around, some stood frightened at the place most far away from humans. When I found number #8009 I started to smile. A pretty black mare with a bald face stood there, kind of relaxed, grazing and not recognising anything around her.

I really tried to make her at least look at me, but no. She didn’t even lift her head a little. I decided to just watch her for a while, until I would find a name for her. I looked at everything. Her head, her colour, her behaviour (well, standing there, grazing...), but my eyes always returned to her head. To her beautiful blue eyes. And I remembered that old native american man, who told me about that wonderful name. Taini, returning moon. That would be her name.

I decided to just watch her for this day. Let her get used to my presence. Maybe she would even raise her head, to take a quick look at me. And she did. She recognised me, looked at me for a while, and probably decided I’m not dangerous. At least not, as long as I am just standing there. Quite relaxed still, but always ready to run away, she started grazing again.

And I only stood there, watching her.
