Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammals'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Personality: Lexis is quite the oddball, always so jubilant and ready to take action. Her goofy personality can make some simas shy away, and others look up to her as a leader. Preferably, she wants to be viewed as a leader and commonly behaves as if she's always in charge. This characteristic can easily become annoying, for she is also a bit controlling. Despite her desire to lead others, she can just as well be a follower. Lexis is good at taking orders and accomplishing tasks, though she can put up a minor fight when she is not in charge. However, her rebellious attitude can quickly be countered by her desire to help others, and she'll eventually give in to doing whats right.
Odd hobby: It may not seem to odd to the average sima, but Lexis is obsessed with fireflies. Not just your average collecting and releasing either. She'll catch as many as she can, and record their behavior as well as their physical appearance, almost like a scientist. Once she documents this vital information, she'll release them into the wild with tiny markers on them so that she knows which ones she's caught, and which one's she needs to collect data on.

Since he was little Vermont has enjoyed
collecting various green colored rocks.
He has become quite skilled in the hobby
of painting smooth rocks and sand papering
rough or scratchy rocks. Some say that he
is obsessed with rock collecting, but he
just enjoys the solitude of rocks.
S t r a n g e q u i r k : Vermont often
chews the bottom of straws. Yes, the
bottom. Not the top. He always sucks the
drink out after lifting the straw out, then
finds himself chewing on the bottom, just
a force of habit. Accidentily. It was once a
friend told that he realized he did it! He's
been trying to stop, but he's struggling.
