Art:Personality: wrote:Vetru is a sweetheart. She is shy and intelligent, but also quite adventurous and oblivious to other's stronger emotions. This filly loves the unexplainable and most utterly hates psychology. Her passion is art, basking in the artistic values of nature. She recognizes everything, the textures and green hues in leaves and the forever changing, soft and sharp currents of streams. She loves sunny, breezy days and the cool gusts it brings. It makes it very easy to think and just connect to the world around her.

"No, I will not."
"Yes, you will. Its not gonna kill you."
"Yes, yes it will."
"Don't make me shove you."
She looked at the beast, looming abo--
"Touch it!"
Sighing, Vetru glared at the dandelion, shrunken in fear by the beast above it. Holding her breath, she reached down and nosed the rabbit. It was soft and warm. He responded by sniffing Vetru's muzzle. "Naw, the thing is adorable."
"Told you," Nevadra huffed.
Short Story: wrote:This story is in continuation of the writing here:
Click. In Nevadra's form. She was walking around, minding her own, quiet business, when a young mare came full speed at her. "Help!" She breathed out. She looked terrible. Ice wrapped around her like a tormenting blanket. Her mane was rough and seemed as though it was in a constant wind, a picture of a breezy day. A winter storm. But it was summer.
"What happened?" Vetru questioned. The filly simply jerked her head violently behind her and raced off up the mountain. "Ummm, okay." Shrugging a little, she sprinted after her. At the top of the mountain trail, boulders cleared off into a thin, dusty path. At the top, a grey mare, a bit older than the one standing above her, lay quietly with shallow breaths. The tan mare offered Vetru pleading eyes. Now that she though about it, she recognized her. She was usually in a much more, noble and prissy state.
Together, they hefted the mare up and brought her down the hill into the warmth.
They made it to the bottom and fell to the ground. A very upset looking stallion greeted them with a strong glare towards Hikari. Oh perfect, this was a great start to a new herd; upset one of the leaders.
HoweverHowever young,
However old,
We get so hung,
We get so cold.
We are young,
We are old,
Fascination rules the mind,
And hearts of every kind.
However hung,
However cold,
Know that nothing,
No one is king.
However powerful,
However sly,
I am me,
I am nobody's 'mine'.

Quote wrote:“Let others wage war. You, lucky Austria, shall marry.”
― Scott Westerfeld, Goliath
Vetru is not the type to
declare a fight because
of a difference. She would
rather make amends.
Quote wrote:“You fiddle lucker!' she cried.”
― Scott Westerfeld, So Yesterday
Vetru is outright and
truthful. Sometimes
words just slip out of
her mouth. Even then,
since her mind is not
ready to speak, the
words get a little
confused.
Quote wrote:“Maybe the natural world wasn't so jaw-droppingly horrible, appaling, nasty, vile. Sometimes nature could be quite sweet, really, as delicate as a confused and horny butterfly.”
― Scott Westerfeld, Peeps
Vetru loves nature
and similes. She
often compares one
thing to another.
The first thing I noticed about this equid is her startling eyes. They fascinated me in the way they seemed a mix of white, grey, and a light blue. I also thought she was a sugar cube and carrots type gal. She very often grazes by the stream, the moisture causing for soft and juicy grass. She loves the fresh stuff. When she meets new, outgoing, and friendly equids she tends to shy and judge. One of her flaws is indeed judging a book by it's cover.
In addition, I chose Scott Westerfeld quotes, from his books, for a few reasons. I love him as an author, his books are inspiring. Also, when I see this mare I think of his books. They are full of adventure and wit, traits I connect to this filly.
